Yes the service is great and the quality is overwhelming but it is very pricey and has a stuffy atmosphere. However, if you're a Diamond Member, go! The amenities are amazing and they treat you like royalty.

It is also conveniently located/attached to a mall and MTR station.

In the beginning, I was somewhat dissapointed about the hotel, as it was located quite distant from Kowloon. But later, we found out that it is walking distant to HK park, and there was a subway station just under the hotel . The hotel itself was very clean, and had wonderful harbor view (thought partly block by the building in between).
The only drawback of the hotel was the pillow, it was too soft for our standard.
We did not have meals in the hotel, but the Zen restaurant at the shopping mall downstair was extraordinary!

It was freezing night and hot water is not hot enough for shower. Asked for a newspaper and got no stock. Breakfast even worse. Only 1 chef is smiling and all the rest of staff in breakfast who are not up to 5-star hotel service. I think it is time for the Management to think about what happen there. I don't mind to tell full story if there is any Management people can contact me.

This hotel, part of the Hilton Group, rises some 61 stories, and the view from the executive floors and lounge is awesome. That linked with superb and immediate service from the staff on their executive lounge makes this hotel a must for the seasoned traveller. Especially important is that the Hotel is above the MTR which makes traveling a breeze.
With comfort at every level, and a bathroom with every luxury it makes good sense to use this hotel as "home from home" especially so as their is a myriad of shops on the first 3-4 floors with tastes for everyone.

Room Tip: Ask for room overlooking the bay, and not looking at The Shangri La Hotel ...

5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2012

I recently stayed at this hotel over Chinese New Year. My wife was over on business and I decided to join her for a few days from Singapore.

I have stayed in a number of Conrad hotels over the past few years and they are always impressive. This visist did nothing to change my opinion that the Conrad chain offers some of the best service and rooms in the world.

My wife had checked in a few days previously and informed front desk of my arrival. No problem - I gave my wife's name and the front desk sorted everything out and within a few minutes I had the room key.

The rooms aren't massive by Asian hotel standards if I'm honest (I've stayed in bigger rooms in hotels of less quality). However they feel very clean and luxurious. The bed in particular was exceptionally comfortable. We had a view of Victoria Peak from our room, which was lovely.

Other higlights of the room: there is a free Nespresso machine for coffee as well as a selection of teas. The bathroom has his and hers sinks, and both a shower (excellent water pressure - a bonus in my view) and a seperate bathtub and high quality toiletries. Towels were also very soft - not always the case in these types of hotels.

We never attended breakfast, but we did use the lobby lounge for a few drinks in the evening. Service was impeccable (though due to it's layout and size, perhaps a trifle slow at times), and we were impressed with the waitresses who were absolutely charming and who cracked a few jokes.

We also drank once at the bar on the 8th floor and again service was without fault, as was the quality of the drinks. I have heard from friends in HK that Niccolini's on the 8th floor (Italian restaurant) is very good, but regrettably we never had the chance to sample the food.

The doorman was very polite and had no trouble obtaining taxis for us, despite it being Chinese New Year. He also translated our destinations into Cantonese to ensure no misunderstanding with the driver.

In summary then, a very good hotel with excellent service. Whilst the rooms might be a trifle on the small side, the quality of the room more than makes up for it.

Highly recommended.

This is my first stay at the Conrad Hong Kong and I hope not the last. The rooms, the service, the location, the lounge and my dinner at Nicholini's were all excellent. The beds were so comfortable. The room is big, the view was breathtaking and the service was as good as the Peninsula...in fact, the experience was better all around. My friend and I really enjoyed our dinner and Nicholini's, one of our best meals in HK. Being located above Pacific Place is no hardship and it is an easy walk to Admiralty station or even into town via Hong Kong Park. I had stayed at other Conrad's but this is by far the best. My only small criticism is the charge for the internet...the only place I had to pay in HK.
