“Best Hotel I have ever stayed in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

Stunning, stunning, stunning
lovely rooms, helpful staff, free bus shuttle service.
Food is fab, the australian themed buffet nights are a dream- opt for the unlimited wine & beer!
Beautiful pool overlooking the Harbour.
Only downside, we sent clothes for laundry and they went missing! they were found though by that evening.

Room Tip: ask for Harbour view- floor to celing views- stunning

This hotel is brilliant. We booked a harbour view room and were surprised to find how large it was. The bed was really comfortable with the softest pillows. Plenty of storage space, a large bathroom with bath and shower, beautifully appointed with plenty of mirrors and good lighting. A shuttle bus runs every half hour to and from Tsim Sha Tsui from early in the morning to late in the evening which was an added bonus. However, we often enjoyed walking along the harbourside promenade, taking around 30 minutes to reach TST whilst enjoying great harbour views all the way. The staff were very friendly and eager to assist. The breakfast buffet had just about anything you could ever want and the service was very good too. The hotel is in a good, quiet location with plenty of reasonably priced restaurants and a good variety of shops nearby. We will definitely stay there again.

I was here for one night on a business stop. Nothing wrong with the hotel. Shuttle bus got me there from the airport. Check in was fast. Room was very nice but the bathroom is very cramped. If you are a big person it would be a challenge. I had a harbor view small suite for $150 so no complaints on the price by Hong Kong Standard. VICIOUS price of about $23 for a night of internet...a total travesty which will insure that I never stay there again...seems to be the norm for the market. Did not eat there. Too many good options close by. The main negative was the check out. If I were in a hurry, I would have been doomed... 43 persons in line at check out time with three persons at the desk. That took almost an hour. That was disgusting. Hello----Earth to hotel...invest in an online auto checkout??? Especially for folks who pre paid? All I had to settle was the nasty internet charge which made the wait even more annoying. But all amenities on my 17th floor room were absolutely fine. Good TV Channels...Great View...BED was HARD...so watch that. Rate did not include breakfast....

Room Tip: Harbor view for sure! High floor.

As a previous reviewer said, it is a lovely hotel - loads of helpful, friendly staff, huge breakfast although it finishes promptly and they clear everything away very quickly - but it is a long way from the nearest underground station and it is a little off the best place to get the views, especially of the light show at 8 pm each night. This is better viewed from further along at the Star Ferry departure point. We thought it delightful to see the local weddings - especially when the bride wore the traditional, brightly coloured costume. The Waterfront Bar - in a separate building from the main hotel but still part of it from the point of view of being able to sign for your drinks - was a lovely spot for an evening nightcap although best avoided when the singers were on!

The Harbour Grand is fine if you're happy to wait for the shuttle, but not being close the MTR, busses or good shopping can be a bit frustrating . The rooms are spacious and have good, harbour views, it's a typical efficient business/ tourist hotel, with a wedding most days, a bit characterless for anything other than a very short stay. Usual big breakfast spread with many big breakfasters( awful zero fat yogurt ) and a good little coffee shop in the lobby.

A fairly high-end hotel, in a decent enough location (shuttle bus also into TST for tourists & Star Ferry - 5-10 minute drive), but a very very busy hotel.

Good design, high end feel, only let down by the constant foot traffic through reception and the mass gathering that is breakfast.

Decent enough views from Harbour View rooms but how good is dependant upon what side of the hotel your room is - the rooms further away from TST allow a good view across the river, but not of the famous neon adverts HK is famous for.

Approx HK$320 from airport with luggage and a 30 minute drive.

Harbour View Suite very well proportioned, with all mod-cons (electric blinds, curtains, 2 bathrooms, living area, huge bedroom) but would question whether worth significant expense if most time spent outside of hotel.

We stayed here for a week with interconnecting rooms and a stunning harbour view. Whilst the location is not the best for MTR etc, the hotel runs a shuttle to take you to the MTR. The rooms were very spacious for Hong Kong, and the staff were very helpful.

Room Tip: Get a Harbour View room - priceless!
