If you want to treat yourself this is definitely the place to go. Location excellent and I had room with harbour views. There are so many little quirks which make your stay a real pleasure. Nespresso coffee capsules and very well stocked mini bars. I had room service dinner which was delicious. All in all a lovely relaxing two night stay. wonderful to come back after an evening out and the room was prepared for the night and lovely red slippers laid out.

Room Tip: Harbour view definitely the best.

If you want to feel as the most important person in the world, The Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong is the place to be.
The location is fantastic, a few minutes walking to Central, Wan Chai, the Harbour, Soho, etc.
Rooms are very good size, and they keep cleaning and tiding up your room all the day long!
Food is good as well as breakfast but a bit expensive if you just take a coffee and a some bread. But for a big breakfast is good value for money.
Gym is fantastic, open 24 hours, and the staff is incredible. I have been in the Mandarin a few times and they always exceed my expectations.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night as i was very lucky to travel here on the way back from thailand, I only got to experience this hotel for a short period of time but this hotel was a very busy/business orientated hotel, the foyer was direct out to the front, the hotel had a great irish bar there and also was located in the centre of hong kong, the hotel was very good standard but not as luxurious as I expected, all in all I would go back to this hotel back to this hotel.

Room Tip: hong kong island view

When my husband and I decided we wanted to go to Hong Kong, we searched and searched for what we thought would be the best hotel for us. We could not have made a better choice. The hotel location made for easy access to the MTR and an easy walk to the ferry. Located right in Central, it was perfect!

From the moment we got to the hotel to the moment we left, the staff could not have been more helpful or courteous. Everyone was absolutely wonderful!

Our room was lovely and had a view of the harbour. The Clipper Lounge offers a wonderful buffet to start the day with a delightful staff.

I would HIGHLY recommend the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong.

Even when I only had one night in that hotel, the experience was in every area outstanding. Starts with a professional and efficient check-in. The hotel room is big, luxurious furnished and also very convenient (e.g. full operation of really every light out of bed). Breakfast is great. Nothing to complain about here. Value has a price, sure. But it seems reasonable here.

We stayed here for a night on the way to China. Initially we were worried with such an old hotel but turned out that they had refurbished the rooms a few years back. Everything with regards to facilities was in great shape and the rooms were of good size and well laid out. The room we were in faced an office building so some privacy issues there. Location in Central is very convenient specially for business travelers. Overalla very good property.

Service is as good as advertised and we had high expectations having stayed at their other properties. They did not disappoint. From having a valet to show us everything in the room to being greeted by name most times at every turn, they maintain the standard of service they are known for.

Room Tip: Try to get rooms facing the park so you do not face an office building which can also look in at you...

I cannot see how the service and the overall hotel can be improved upon. I look forward to any opportunity to stay here. This is the benchmark that other hotels should be measured against. You will not be disappointed (unless its full).
More than the overall level of service, friendly and attentive staff it is the consistency that is incredible. I have lost count of the times I have stayed here over the last 10 years and it never fails to disappoint. I can honestly say its worth going to Hong Kong to stay and eat at the various restaurants within the hotel... You will experience all.
