“Great hotel for a business stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2013

I had a room on the top floor and the room in particular the bathroon was spacious. The bed was big and very comfortable. The breakfast is included and it is excellent with lots of different options to choose from - although as a German I would not recommend the Bavarian sausages and bretzel which do not really taste as they should...There's a bit of a strange smell in the lobby and in the hallways, but not in my room.
The staff is very friendly. As people have mentioned before, the hotel is located in the middle of a mall with plenty of designer brands - it is so big that you can easily get lost. There are also plenty of good restaurants nearby.

I have stayed at the prince 50+ times in the last three years on various business and leisure trips to Hong Kong and I have never once been disappointed. The new room upgrades have been done tastefully and the service, cleanliness and amenities are the best value for money in TST. I will continue to stay here in the future.

Room Tip: High floor with Sea View if available

This was our first time in Hong Kong and I'd read that rooms were small. We were 3 adults in the room and there was still room to move around. Service was exemplary from all spheres of staff but have to give special thanks to Wilson who went even above and beyond that. Hotel is a short walk to many attractions and the MTR. It is attached to one of the malls so you can walk indoors much of the way if you prefer. Did not eat at the hotel but facilities looked nice. Would certainly come back!

My husband and I stayed here for a total of 6 nights while we were in Hong Kong. It's located in TST and connected to the Ocean Terminal and Harbour City Shopping Mall and about a five minute walk to the MTR. The rooms in this hotel are very large for Asia rooms. You can definitely fit four comfortably. Even the bathroom was huge! Though they don't have a bathtub but only a shower stall.

We got a room with one bed and even that one queen sized bed looked tiny in the room. I believe that the hotel was recently renovated so everything looked newer in the room. The walls are pretty thin though since we could hear the people next door to us. And they have the ability to have connecting rooms if you want to get two rooms to connect.

They also have a pillow menu which offered about 15 choices of different pillows if you didn't like the pillow choices in the room. That helped out a lot since my husband usually needs better support for his neck while sleeping.

The service was great and overall, we enjoyed our stay. My only gripe would be the price but I'm told that it's pretty average for Hong Kong hotels. It's not a five star hotel by any means but you're paying a lot for decent hotel. If you have a family I would definitely stay at this place because of the size of the rooms but if you're a couple, I might look elsewhere ...

Really impressed with this hotel! Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and would come back again. Located or attached inside a very high end Mall right next to the harbor in Hong Kong. About a 40 minute ride from the Airport.

Staff was very friendly and helpful from the time we checked in to checkout. We used room service for all our dinners since by the end of the day our daughter was exhausted and so were we. Room service was always on time and with a smile, as they were busy.

Hotel itself is clean, modern and just went through remodeling. Our room was very spacious and came with free wi-fi, nice firm bed that was clean. Big bathroom and shower. Bed was very firm but comfortable and slept well with no noise.

Food was outstanding as we had breakfast and dinner there. We were so busy with tours and by the end of the day we were so exhausted that we dined in but the food was really good with a great menu. However if you wanted to go out the options were endless as you are attached to a Mall with plenty of restaurants and outside on a fashion street with shops/bistros/restaurants.

I did see the Gym and had several treadmills, few bikes, nautical machines. Very standard.

Again very nice hotel and would stay again if we went back to Hong Kong.

Cost was expensive. I think we spent $300.00 for the 3 nights we were there. I can't comment how much rooms were as we did a tour-package deal with a travel agency.

** Review for families**

Hotel is great place for families. Mall is next door with a grocery store so if you forget anything it is all right there. Mall is a great place for kids to run around and of course plenty of shopping/restaurants. Hong Kong is an amazing city and we did Disney.....great time to go is late November, Thanksgiving Holiday. We did do the Launtau Island tour and went to the Buddha temple along with the Tram/Cable car. Tip: skip the bus and ferry ride to the Island and take a taxi straight to the Tram Car to go to the Buddha. It was not fun being with a 2 yo for all the driving and ferry to get there.

Was on a trip with some friends; first time in HK. Wow...what an enjoyable experience.

Hotel location - very nice! Was not too far from the harbor (walking distance to AVE of the Stars). There was lots of shopping and eating places nearby. The area was more or less safe; surrounding was nicely lit.

Staff - Staff was awesome! Very friendly and very helpful.

Room - Rooms were nice! Very functional, and we also had the comforts of a connected room, which helped our group of four to stay connected within the privacy of our rooms.

WiFi - no problems during our stay.

Beds - Definitely a plus! Finding a hotel in HK with two beds in the room that were not singles, and for the right price, was tough! The Prince Hotel however was up to the task!

Transportation - we did not rent a car, but didn't need to. The buses/trains/boats were all within walking distance.

I am a very regular visitor to HK and have stayed in many of its hotels. My recent stay at the Marco Polo Prince was a truly excellent pleasant surprise. Whilst rooms are admittedly 'compact', this is totally superseded by the excellent service from a very friendly and anticipatory staff. Property and room cleanliness is also excellent in this very busy hotel. Food offerings are good in quality and even better in value. I particularly enjoyed the convenience of the 16th Floor Continental Club.
Thank you to the Marco Polo Prince team
