“Good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

Rooms are small, clean, remember you are in Hong Kong which has some of the priciest real estate in the world. Nothing to write home about the free breakfast, its good. Good location, close to everything, including metro station. The concierge is very very helpful in arranging tours, we even did a one day tour of china through him and it was a good one.

The hotel is located close to Causeway bay shopping center. Being near to the subway (MTR), travelling is pretty convenient. The staff was extremely helpful in providing information. The room was nice and comfortable with all amenities. We didn't quite enjoy the complementary breakfast and ended up sticking to fruits most of the days. Also, give this one a miss if you are looking for a room with a great view. Overall the stay was pleasant.

After reading some of the recent reviews I was expecting a bit of horror but was pleasantly surprised with this hotel.

The rooms are relatively small but you do pay a lower price than other big ones. Wifi was very good and breakfast pretty good too with both Asian and western choices.

The hotel is normally a 10 minute walk to Causway Bay station but on Sunday this can take much longer due to hordes of people sitting on the walkway bridges and the adjoining roads (Im not sure whether this happens every Sunday or had something to do with Ramadan).

The hotel location is very close to shopping street, a lot of restaurant and also have supermarket.
Their staff work well and can communicate in English. The room is clean but the view to the bay is not good due to high building. You can also borrow the adapter at the frontdesk.

The worst thing for me is a lot of housekeeper sit on the street on Sunday. Actually it start on Saturday night, so if you can avoid to book this hotel on Sunday. I think overall is good

This hotel is well placed near Causeway Bay & handy to all transport. It was in the average price bracket for HK. The room size was adequate & the bathroom, although small, was also adequate & well equipped. There was a hair dryer provided as well as iron & board. Wifi was available throughout the hotel. The decor is a little faded in the rooms. The breakfast buffet was very well priced with a good variety of Asian & Western food. All in all we would stay here again because of its position.

Room Tip: Down the end of a corridor away from lifts

This hotel is a far cry from 4-star, don't get fooled by the photos on the website. The toilet don't function as it should, everytime i flush the toilet, the water keep rising up the bowl. Breakfast is so so, not great especially for non-asian guests who are not used to rice & noodles for breakfast. The hardboil egg comes in a blue-ish shade...

Location is good, a short walk to the buzzing Causeway Bay/MTR

This was my third time in Hongkong. I must say this was a way better location for hotel then where I stayed before. If you are not a great fan of Chinese food like me ( I am a non alcoholic vegetarian) than this is great place to be as you can find Subway, PizzaHut and StarBucks within 2-5 mins walking distance.

However I was way too disappointed by the hotel itself. The rooms are small and the total service level is average. Breakfast menu is small.

There is one thing I want to bring to even hotels notice is that there is a very very odd smell in the bathroom. As I was there for a training with people from other countries (Japan, China, Isreal, Australia) also staying with in other rooms and they shares the same thing with me, so I know it was just not in my room. I guess they are using sewage water in the flush which is causing it. Its a very very bad smell.

Also, finding taxi in the morning hours from this hotel is a total nightmare. You can hardly find any taxi coming to hotel in the morning so you have to walk to the main road which is not more then 20 meter away though to get a taxi and it is HARD. It would be better if you walk 5-7 mins and go to some bigger hotels near by and you can find taxi easily there.

On the otherside, its easier to get bus and even MTR station is like 5 mins walking. So if you are a tourist and would hardly spend time in hotel and would take public transport then this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: Take the room in the higher floors so that you can get a better view, also check if you can get harb...
