“Excellent value and comfort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

Spacious, comfortable and very well appointed rooms; many key details are included such as bathrobes, slippers, a sensible range of toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities which are so appreciated. Stayed on 37th floor and it was very quiet. The roof-top bar on the 49th floor is a great place to relax and not too crowded. Very efficiently run hotel.

The hotel hosts many wedding banquets and so the lobby and lower floors can be pretty busy at weekends.

Don't let the location put you off. Although some way out of town, the hotel is right on top of a MTR station and it only takes 30 mins tops to get to Central. Tseung Kwan O is a residential area so there isn't anything to see around there. However, precisely because of this, perhaps, this hotel is able to provide high standards at lower prices comparing to locations in town. I would certainly be coming back to stay.

Surprised by the very large room (for HK standards), although I think I may have had a complimentary upgrade. Really comfy bed and great bathroom with separate walk in shower. Only down side to this hotel was the HKD100 charge per night for wifi - really should be free in this day and age.

Just spent two nights at this hotel before going onto Japan. It was a quiet location and out of the main centre but no problem as the underground was a couple of minutes walk away. We paid for a upgrade so that we could get wifi in the bedroom, had breakfast in the hotel one of the mornings which was Ok, also went to the same restaurant on the evening to have the buffet which was noisey and very unorganised. Would use this hotel if in Hong Kong again.

Room Tip: Upgrade if possible

If your travelling from the airport it's best to take a taxi as it's about three changes on the MRT. The good thing is the taxis's are all fixed prices. It's about 30 minutes in a taxi from the airport.

When we checked in we were offered a room upgrade for an extra price. Which included breakfast, afternoon tea and evening drinks with snacks. This was certainly worth the money.

The hotel is connected to a mall and a MRT station.

The hotel is a bit far out but this didn't bother us because the MRT was easy to use, cheap, clean and safe.

Good hotel with decent rooms and close to subway station and shopping mall. Did not use any facilities except the pool because we were out all day in Kowloon or on Hong Kong Island. Adjacent mall has food outlet open till midnight if you are late back from siteseeing and don't want to pay room service prices. Only 25 mins on subway to HK Central and a little more to Mongkok. Would stay there again and take advantage of lower price compared to something similar but more central.

After traveling for nearly a day, we could not check in so all of us were told to sit and wait in lounge. Not enough seats and no drinks were offered or on sale, the bar there remained closed, not a good start. But I have say after that problem. The room was large, very clean and bed very comfortable. Just outside hotel a mall were you can get most east essentials, and coffee and breakfast if u have room only. Also in the mall is the tube station that is so easy to use and very cheap. We went into town and only had to change once at north point and journey time of 15 minutes.

A very nice hotel with a lovely view and luxurious rooms. However, I was surprised that for the price some amenities were lacking.
1. No free breakfast included, not even coffee. There was no electric kettle in the room, so I had to go out for coffee.
2. No free wi-fi in rooms. You have to pay an additional $HK per day. However, you can go down to the lobby for free wi-fi.
3. No shuttle to the airport express train. The MTR website says that most major hotels have free shuttle service to the nearest Airport Express terminal. but Crowne Plaza does not offer this service.
FYI, the bus E22A to and from the airport is very efficient and stops just outside the hotel at Tseug Kwan O MTR station. However, most buses and MTR doesn't operate at night, so getting to the airport for a 7 o'clock flight can be difficult. There is, however, a night bus called N29.

I enjoyed my comfortable room. And don't miss the Cielo wine bar on the 47th floor (even though the house wine is HK80 per glass). Some other hotel guests got a voucher
for a free glass of wine, but I didn't.
