Visiting Park Island, and dined at Roma. Saw their sign that said 2-for one pasta night. The lasagna was 118 Hong Kong Dollars, that got us two plates. The servings were moderate, but was really dry and seemed to be old. Had lunches at local places and the pastas were really decent. What also bothered me was when I arrived there were tables at the front of the place on the beach and a few had reserved signs. I asked if i could have one of the several seats and was told they were reserved and placed in a dark corner under a loud speaker with Musac at a high level. Stayed over an hour and the front view tables were never occupied. Another thing, all of the other restaurants in Park island offer a 10 percent discount to residents. Roma does not notify guests of the 10 percent service charge and does not give the normal resident discount. The staff are not at all friendly, not rude either. The food was edible.
