Description: Cafe Roma is a laid back, all-day beachfront dining cafe nestled at the tip of Ma Wan Tung Wan Beach serving casual European cuisine. Our kitchen team is managed by Executive Chef Jaakko Sorsa who also oversees FINDS, the first and only Nordic restaurant and bar in Hong Kong. The menu consists of all-time favourites such as pizza, pasta, burgers, steaks and healthy salads, paired with a good selection of wines, beers, creative cocktails and fresh fruit juices at the bar. Ingredients are carefully chosen and thoughtfully prepared in our kitchen to serve familiar flavours that are tasty, comforting and satisfying.Cafe Roma is proud to have the best spot on Park Island, being the only restaurant with the wooden deck and open air by the beach. Our location is perfect for a quiet meal alone, a romantic date, or a gathering for family and friends. Private events such as cocktails, corporate functions, birthday parties, kids parties, wedding receptions and reunions are also easily accommodated by our team of friendly professionals. Customers can dine in with their friends and family, including the furry ones, as pets are always welcome at the restaurant’s outdoor patio.

“Edible”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

Visiting Park Island, and dined at Roma. Saw their sign that said 2-for one pasta night. The lasagna was 118 Hong Kong Dollars, that got us two plates. The servings were moderate, but was really dry and seemed to be old. Had lunches at local places and the pastas were really decent. What also bothered me was when I arrived there were tables at the front of the place on the beach and a few had reserved signs. I asked if i could have one of the several seats and was told they were reserved and placed in a dark corner under a loud speaker with Musac at a high level. Stayed over an hour and the front view tables were never occupied. Another thing, all of the other restaurants in Park island offer a 10 percent discount to residents. Roma does not notify guests of the 10 percent service charge and does not give the normal resident discount. The staff are not at all friendly, not rude either. The food was edible.

“Farely good price for italian food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

Nothing extraordinary about Cafe Roma, but as there aren't much choices in Ma Wan, I guess it worse a try. The pizzas don't have much meat or seafood. The pasta are ok and the salads don't have much cheese or meat, just on top of the dish to look good. Price is ok for Hong Kong.
