We were invited to this small restaurant at the edge of downtown Central in Hong Kong. Food was excellent. The restaurant itself is very small. Looks like only 3 or 4 tables downstairs and same upstairs. There is only one bathroom where all the guest share. But we didn't come it for comfort, or space. We came for good Cantonese food, solid wonderful Chinese food with a touch of innovation. Every dish we had was very good, even the sweet soup for dessert was excellent. And normally Cantonese dessert is nothing to rave about.
I love the cold dish - turnip sticks with a hint of honey and lemongrass, perfect when the temperature is 34C outside.
We tried to book for another dinner in the following week but was told that the restaurant was booked solid for a few weeks. Maybe next time we come to Hong Kong, we can try it again.
