“Very nice hotel, reasonably priced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

Although the rooms are on the smaller side of hotel rooms generally, it has all the comforts you want when travelling.
The suite was very functional for it's size and while the beds were on the firm side and the washroom a bit too small (not the shower) the toiletries were very nice, the bedroom very functional with a TV and the separate sitting area with a couch and table and another TV.
The rooms were very clean and bottled water provided free every day.
Yes, the breakfast area is small but use of the boardroom helps and the food is reasonable but don't expect a buffet like at the Four Seasons or Shangri-La.
The location is good if you want an authentic downtown Hong Kong experience which we did and were not disappointed.
Staff were very helpful.
We would stay at LBP again.

Was upgraded to a suite, which definitely helped given that it was a lot more spacious and we had quite a lot of luggage. The hotel staff were helpful from the very start and so friendly. I can't commend them enough. Clean and modern hotel. Pretty much everything that I would want from a hotel. Also, looking around and after speaking to a few people who have gone to HK, it is definitely a good value hotel.

No major flaws but I thing that I thought I would mention are:
- that the MTR station is about 10 minutes walk away, which wouldn't normally be a problem, but it rained every day that we were there so it was bit of a shame. They did give you an umbrella to use though, which helped. The tram stop (recommend using this for the fun factor) was only 2 minutes away though.
- the breakfast area is also quite small and sometimes we had to wait for somewhere to sit but there's so much good food around HK that we didn't feel the need to eat breakfast at the hotel anyway, although it was a nice breakfast. Simple but with enough variety and quite tasty.
- the location is in quite an old part of town, although that added to the character of the area and made walking around and exploring more interesting.
- bed is hard but I liked that.

Despite these thing, which really aren't a deal breaker for me, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Very reasonably priced place that is very near to the nightlife district of SoHo, and close to the harbor and airport express station. The staff was very helpful, and even contacted us about an item we had left behind before we realized it was missing. Suite on 19th floor had great views, and the price came with breakfast.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of Hollywood Park.

We were so happy that we found this hotel for many reasons:

The staff is super friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a bigger room at arrival without asking for it. During checkout there was no problem to get a late checkout and we were allowed to use their service center after checkout to shower etc (since our flight leaved late in the evening). There is a nice gym with a XBOX 360 Kinect as well. They also provided us with umbrellas when it was raining.

The breakfast area is small and cosy but efficient and stimulates conversation with other guests if you want to. The breakfast was basic but really good with a lot of fruits, berries etc.

The rooms are new and in good shape. Very cosy and spacious. The bathroom are modern and clean. Two TVs, small refrigerator, writing table, dinner table, sofa etc. The beds are excellent.

The location is good as well. Ten minutes walk to SoHo and the subway. Two minutes walk to the exotic tram. Many interesting local shops in the neighborhood. Two different super markets just around the corner.

To summarize we can really recommend staying at LBP! :)

This was our first visit to Hong Kong so we were not sure about the location. The one problem we did encounter was the taxi driver didn't know where the hotel was and when I handed hinm the details he had to phone to get directions, twice. On arriving at the hotel we were impressed by the security in accessing the building, the hotel reception is on the 3rd floor.

The hotel room was small, as we had expected for Hong Kong, with the bathroom an area partitioned of with glass. It was fine and of an adequate size. We found a box of toiletries in the wardrobe for our use. The breakfast supplied by the hotel was not fancy but perfect for starting the day. In particular we loved the fresh fruit.

We found the hotel staff very helpful when we asked about getting to the peak and over to Lantau Island.

I would certainly consider the hotel again as the location is pretty good with only a short walk to the MTR and plenty of shops etc around about. The only thing we found took a bit of getting used to was the smell of all the dried fish in the shops. After our first 1/2 day wandering about we were accustomed to it so it wasn't too bad.

Stayed one night at the LBP, the location is about 10 mins walk from the Seung Wan MTR, the room size is about what you would expect for a boutique hotel in Hong Kong. The price was very reasonable as well. The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable, but for some reason they don't include soap or shampoo or other toiletries in the room....I guess you have to go buy some yourself if you want to stay for a few days.

Wanted a central hong kong island hotel this was approx 10 mins from the metro and round the corner from the ding ding trams to central. It's a $20 taxi ride from the airport express station (hong kong ) and there is a 7/11 round the corner for snacks.

As per all hong kong hotels the room was very small but it had lots of extra's DVD player ( DVDs to borrow in reception ) , massive box of toiletries had a mini apartment so had a kitchen with a kettle and a fridge that comes in handy. Shower was great hot and powerful and lots of fluffy towels.

Had a great view from the 12th floor and didn't hear any road noise and the building was very secure as you needed ur room key to activate the lift.

Had free room wifi which was fast and no problems plus free breakfast which is always nice not massive but decent spread to start the day eggs , toast , fruit , muffins , tea coffee juice .

Left my charger at the hotel and received an email notifying me that they had found it nice touch .

Would reccommend and return for more info on my trip and my hong kong photo diary check out my twitter @ishootandtravel or my Facebook page Eat Sleep Shoot Travel .

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor 1209 has a good view of Hollywood park.
