This ferry is to Taipa rather than to central Macau which is great if you are staying on the Cotai Strip or Coloane. The ferry ride itself was fine and the staff on board wonderful. As we were travelling with elderly parents we went Cotai First Class. The toilets on board were filthy though. We travelled on a public holiday and there were a lot of people travelling and the organisation at Macau Ferry terminal by Cotai Jet was awful. We felt like cattle herded along and there was no special treatment for first class unlike Turbo Jet Super Class. Organisation was much better on the Macau side but the terminal at Taipa is not a pleasant place to arrive into or depart from. Again we were herded along - it seemed to be every man, woman and child for themselves. This was particularly difficult as we had a relative with us with mobility problems. The worst though was arrival back in Hong Kong. Cotai First passengers should be allowed off first but they allowed the rest off the boat just as our relative reached the steps. He then got crushed in the mad rush to get off the ferry. Staff then did help him off the boat. We will travel Turbo Jet in the future. This was our first experience of Cotai Jet - not to be repeated.
