“Great 360 view but a little expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

There is no denying the view is sepctacular and you can see the city unobstructed from all angles. However at 165HKD it is slightly expensive as there is onyl a limited time you can really spend up there to get the most of your money. In my opinion while its a better all round view than victoria peak I think in future i would just visit victoria peak instead as it is stil la beautiful view and far far cheaper and there is more to do while your up there.

“Can see forever...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

We went to the Sky 100 on a fairly clear day and the view was breathtaking. I've been to the Peak many, many times, but this gave a different perspective because of the 360 degree panorama. Going up in the lift was an experience in itself- it does 100 floors in 60 seconds!
There was no queuing to enter and the aircon was a relief on a hot day.
We were there for about and hour and the weather went from clear to stormy, so we saw the storm clouds come over Hong Kong Island and engulf the Skyscrapers.

If you like big buildings this is the 4th tallest building in the world ( I think) and well worth a visit.

“Up in the clouds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

A wonderful way to "see" Hong Kong, especially if a first time visitor. One has similar and different views from this observation level than one has from the platforms at the top of Victoria Peak. If possible visit when you can see the top of the building from the ground, otherwise the view from the 100th floor will be obscured as well. From here, Hong Kong appears to be "a doll house," revealing the compact size of Hong Kong compared to views from such levels in other major cities. Locating the entrance is confusing; signs point the way and one needs also to ask for specific directions. Victoria Peak is a more "enchanting" location to view Hong Kong. Sky 100 is sterile. Welcome to Hong Kong. Try to go at sunset. The views, if clear, are spectacular. Easily a one to two hour visit.

“Overrated and Expensive”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012 via mobile

For what you get for $150 it is very overrated. The view is stunning, but much better to get the same view and experience from the Peak. The view from the peak is free (not the one from Sky Terrace where you have to pay $65) and has surrounding facilities that you can enjoy your day with.

Spend 15min there and nothing else to do afterwards. The place is that boring. If you do decide to go and take photographs take a good camera. The iphone and Android phones are not good enough to capture the beauty of the scenery.

“Great views, if clear”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

We managed to get a reasonably clear day to go up to the viewing floor, which I expect made a quite a diffence to the experience. After a bit of a walk (despite it's height, it's not so easy to find your way there on foot unless you have some idea of where you're going - it's entrance is on the 2nd floor of a mall). We were expecting a queue as we've had for almost every other sight. Instead we walked straight up to the paying area, bought our tickets, and went immediately into the lift. The price is HK$150, but you can get a discount of HK$30 if you fly Cathay Pacific. The lift takes a minute to get you to the viewing floor, 393 metres above ground. You are not quite at the top of the building as a hotel takes up the remaining top floors. The view is amazing, with a 360 degree window looking out from so high up that the other buildings look like a lego construction. A pleasant experience.
