“The New Sanjeet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

Went to this restaurant for the first time today whilst on business in Hong Kong, typically authentic Indian Food, most customers are Indian.
They have live Indian music and singers, enjoyable, made you feel special
Price range is higher than UK, but portion sizes are huge, so 1 portion enough for two
Not easy to find, if you don't know where you are going, good old google maps got me there.
They are within a mall
Would definitely go there again

“Good Indian cuisine in TST East area, decent curry dishes”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

We had dinner at the New Sangeet Restaurant in the East Tsim Sha Tsui building in the Inter-Continental Plaza building off the Granville Square and found this to be a pretty good Indian restaurant, one worth considering if you are having cravings for a curry while being in this area of Tsim Sha Tsui (TST).

During our meal here, we tried Masala Papadum and three accompanying sauces that were nice (rating 3 of 5). For our main meals, we tried the Chicken Tikka Masala wasn't the best masala dish in the world but it was pretty good (rating 3 of 5). We also tried the Chicken Vindaloo that was well seasoned and flavorful, this was a nice (hot) dish (rating 3.5 of 5). Garlic naan and Jeera Rice were very good (rating 3 of 5). We also had a Carlsberg and an iced lemon tea. Overall, the food was pretty good but a bit on the pricey side, HK$385 for what was served.

We thought the curries at New Sangeet were good and worthy of making return visits in the TST East area. We felt the price was a bit high for the size of the dishes served and overall the food was not as tasty as the Khana Khazana restaurant in Wan Chai, our favorite Indian restaurant in Hong Kong. However, it is a good option for those in this area of Tsim Sha Tsui, craving a curry. They do have plenty of vegetarian, non-vegetarian and even Jain chooses at the New Sangeet Restaurant. We'd eat here again.

“Tasty food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012

Ate here early September on Thursday evening. The food was nice and tasty. Ordered Saag paneer, chicken tikka masala with rice and onion Bahjis. The only dish we were not impressed with were the onion Bahjis which were basically onion rings, the rest was very tasty and I would return again.

“great Indian food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

we had this recommended by a local tailor, really good food and generous portions if a little expensive , unfortunately the chicken was leg meat not breast but the lamb was tender and well flavoured. we were given complimentary popadums and salad whilst we ordered the meal

“Good Location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

The New Sangeet restaurant is located in Toyo mall, Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon. Just in front of my hotel, The Park. We ordered for vegetarian food.

The food was good and tasted Indian. One thing which i didn't like was their love for Potatoes. We took vegetarian food, non-vegetarian dishes were also available. There is live Indian music in the evening.

One can give it a try...
