“The best hotel we've stayed in so far.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2014

We went to celebrate the 6th birthday of my youngest son. Upon entering the room he got very excited with the view. My wife and eldest son were also greatly impressed with the view consisting of a modern urban landscape amidst atmospherically hazy mountains and surrounding waters. The birthday boy got a cake with a candle on his birthday and we sincerely appreciate this very thoughtful gesture.

Ritz pays very close attention to details in terms of finish, layout and choice of furniture and decorations. You feel that everything is in the right place with the varying tones of colors of the room excuding an air of calming elegance.

The pool on the 118th floor and the jacuzzis are clean and the staff are very friendly and are always ready to assist. We spent a lot of time here and in the mall. We tried to go to Disney but went back to the hotel due to the overwhelming crowd and heat and ended up having the most fun just staying within Ritz, elements and the pool.

The buffet breakfast at the lounge presents a wide array of choices and the staff are very courteous and efficient. We also ate at the Chinese restaurant on the 103rd floor and the kids enjoyed the pork barbecue which our server said was their best seller. The servers gave us a treat of cookies and gelatin on the house and the kids enjoyed it.

We will surely spend more vacations at the Ritz Hong Kong in the coming years.

This incredible hotel sits on the top 16 floors of the ICC Building in Hong Kong's Kowloon district, facing the harbour. There are several views You can choose from (where the Victoria Harbour view is arguably the best) but the hotel sits so high up, that any view is guaranteed to be excellent.

The ICC is as far as I know one of the World's tallest buildings, and unless I'm wrong this is the highest hotel anywhere. We booked a club room (worth the extra money) and were kindly provided an upgrade to a beautiful corner room on arrival, right on the 117th floor (the highest floor with guest rooms). Above us only the club lounge area and then sky. You really feel like You're on top of the world.

The room was very well fitted and equipped, spacious; wonderful bathroom, excellent room service, ALL the staff we met were kind and very pleasant and helpful, starting with Janita Hung from guest relations who checked us in (right in the guestroom itself, a very convenient detail), also the lounge manager and personnel, the chamber maids and bell buttons; all very friendly and courteous.

The Club Lounge is a wonderful place to be in, we had breakfast and late afternoon canapés there on a daily basis. We also booked the limo pick-up service from the Airport; a nice touch after arriving from a long trip. To go back to the airport, one can simply walk downstairs, through the shopping mall underneath the building, check-in for the flight right on the train station at the ICC (including baggage drop), and then take a quick, direct and comfortable train ride directly to Hong Kong airport.

If You stop in Hong Kong, it's really worth it to splurge a little and spend a couple of nights in this wonderful place.

Room Tip: Worthwhile getting a Club room. Victoria Harbour view is best, but all views are very good, really...

notwithstanding the amazing architecture simply put this is the best hotel in the world run by the best staff I've ever experienced. the hotel starts at level 105 and heads to the clouds thereafter.

we were on level 109 a corner suite overlooking Victoria Harbour but I suspect wherever you are in this stunning property you are afforded similar aspects. it's not the rooms which make this hotel such a remarkable place to stay but the facilities. the roof top infinity pool on level 118 with outdoor hot tub I've never been this close to God.

the 'club' floor 115 where you can feast of five buffets during the day and consume as much as your constitution will allow all included in the room price.

the management has could not have done more to make our long stay (30 days) a more pleasurable experience. the team on the 'club' floor were just supreme in every way they looked after us we will never forget them for an experience of a lifetime

as a new resident of HK I get to look across the harbour and wish I was back home at the Ritz Carlton Kowloon thanks to Hotel Manager Juan Samso and all the Ritz Carlton family you gave us more than money could ever buy.

Room Tip: just get a room 105-116 levels in the sky is a great view whatever room they give you

Visited last May for five nights. Excellent location - excellent staff, so professional and welcoming. The room was excellent - large with an exceptionally comfortable bed - wonderful bathroom. The view was magnificent - absolutely stunning views of the harbour. At night it was truly mesmerising. Breakfast was the best I have ever had in any hotel all cooked exactly as I like it - 10/10. We didn't eat lunch here as we were out during the day. We ate Dinner only once and I can say that the exquisite presentation, the quality and quantity of the food was perfect. Ritz Carlton Hong Kong is without doubt the best hotel I have stayed in for impeccable service. Outstanding and ver highly recommended.

The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong is simply amazing! The views are out of this world! Our children couldn't get enough of looking out onto Hong Kong. The staff provided over the top, fabulous service from the check in to housekeeping to the concierge service. I couldn't have asked for anything more. When we forgot a bag in our taxi, the concierge tracked it down, and brought it back to our room. When I was checking in, they were worried we wouldn't have enough space and upgraded us to a bigger room. Our kiddos can't wait to go back to Hong Kong just to stay at Ritz.
