“Amazing Hotel, The Views alone are reason enough to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

After a long flight to Hong Kong it is wonderful to be greeted by name at the airport. I would highly recommend you make use of the airport shuttle - yes there are less expensive methods but trust me after a long flight the extra few dollars spent on this are the best invenstment you will make.

For those of you that go to HK regularly you know this building - it overlooks Central and is a destination in itself. The property occupies the top floors of the hotel and the views are the most amazing I've ever experienced. I have been there many times just to have a drink or enjoy a meal - but staying here wa a whole other experience.

They great you at the door and then the typical Ritz Carlton service takes over - from the time you are handed off to the guest relations people inside who take you up to the lobby until they check you in - they know you by name and they know you are tired - so it is efficicent and first class the whole way.

The rooms are perfect -- more traditional than you might think at first but full of modern convenience. The club is one of the best they have in the world - specifically designed (the automated wine bar is amazing just to see how it works) and the service is just as good. The club spans the whle length of the building from side to side.

The facilities are the best I've ever seen - the pool - amazing with the entire ceiling being an LED screen. The gym - first class the whole way. The restaurants - all amazing. Ozone - the highest bar in the world in the highest hotel in the world - amazing.

I would say that this is probably the flagship Ritz Carlton in the world and it lives up to it - in every way. The mangement ofd the property is as good as it gets and may also be the friendliest and most knowledgable I've seen (and I work in the industry and I know what good looks like).

Yes - it is expensive. But you really should splurge and try this property. The best deal in the hotel is the lobby lounge - it is actually one floor down the escalator from the front desk. The views - all I can say is that it is like being in an airplane flying over HK - its that amazing!

The best value in my opinion is to eat / have a drink in the lobby lounge. the Pad Thai is amazing and the prices are pretty reasonable. And at night I've never seen anything so amazing as that view. It literally is mesmerizing. And go up to Ozone and have a drink - just for the experience - you'll never forget it.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room facing central HK - but you really can't get a bad view.

one of the best I have stayed around the world !!!
The service was amazing and the italian restaurant was lovely. I ordered the soup and the spaghetti and both exceeded my expectation. Yes, it was pricy but you pay what you get and it surely worth every penny. The room was nice of course with breath-taking view. I will be back !!!

This is a GREAT "once-in-a-lifetime" experience !

1. EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION: THE TALLEST HOTEL IN THE WORLD.
This hotel is absolutely amazing and incredible. You take lifts during 1 min 30 seconds to reach the hotel at the level 103, 420m high. There you arrive in a marvelous ambiance, warm and modern. And when you reach your room, it becomes incredible, the view is FANTASTIC !!! In addition, you are just above the Metro, with perfect connections to Kowloon and hong kong. Last but not least: the SWIMMING POOL at 480m high, 1,5 x the eiffel tower !!! beautiful and technological pool with incredible views. You may even swim outside !

2. NEVER SEEN SUCH PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICE
We were there for our honeymoon and we were treated as kings. We were upgraded in a large suite with stunning view on Hong Kong, the best ever view of hong kong, better than the peak. Then the staff came every hour in our room to bring something new for our honey moon: a cake; then champaign; then they made a surprise: a warm bath was ready for us, with petals of red flowers, and a plate of strawberries with sugar on the corner of the bath. Because we were ar the pool and came back later in our room, they came back one hour later to rewarm the bath !!!
The "in room dining" was marvelous and delicious, much cheaper than the restaurants and very good quality, with the marvelous view of our room.
The breakfast with such a view is also incredible.
The Ozone bar, highest in the world, you think you are in 22th century. The 3 restaurants, amazing modern & beautiful.

Once in a lifetime experience !

Room Tip: Try to have a room with view on Hong Kong Island, the view is totally crazy

The Club Lounge make ones stay feel like a home experience. Business challenges of logistics are sorted out by the team led by Antony in minutes with no fuss. This is a must destination Hotel in Hong Kong with wonderful views!

Room Tip: A harbour is worth the extra cost.

A totally amazing experience! From the first moment when we were greeted by name by the impeccable staff right through the entire duration of our stay it was a truly exceptional experience. The immaculate hotel epitomizes elegance through subtle attention to detail that delights, coupled with wonderful and knowledgeable staff who genuinely want to look after you, making a wonderful destination a truly memorable experience that you crave for your next trip.

Having stayed at some of the world's best hotels I had some concerns choosing the Ritz Carlton for the first time although right from the initial booking with the hotel, the warm welcome throughout our stay, unwavering attention to impeccable service and attention to detail within the room, club and dining areas was a sheer pleasure that has not been reached in any other hotel.

The room was exceptional and the views unbelievable.

The club manager Anthony Smekens took the exceptional service and quality to an entirely new level. Whenever Anthony was around, all you needed to do was relax whilst Anthony was the perfect host providing a much needed lift after a hard day in Hong Kong, remembering and bringing your favorite drinks or seamlessly anticipating afternoon tea and arranging before you even needed to ask.

All staff from the amazing young local chef Chen Yin Wah who took my order for English muffins and poached eggs and delighted me when he delivered a perfect Eggs Benedict complete with Hollandaise sauce, Judy in the club who provided amazing local tips complete with Cantonese translation and our club drivers who whisked us around Kowloon in luxury and elegance.

Thank you Ritz Carlton - your staff made our stay the most exceptional and truly amazing experience. I can't wait to return to Hong Kong to re-experience the truly unsurpassed luxury and service.

We just stayed at the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong. In addition to the breathtaking views from the tallest hotel in the world, this new Ritz has beautifully appointed rooms, excellent food, and extraordinary service from all of the staff. Anthony Smekens and his team in the 116th floor's Club Room have set a new standard for hotels that offer club/concierge level rooms by providing over-the-top service, along with innovative food and drink options. Room Tip: The best side of the building is the one facing SE toward Victoria Harbour.
