“Makes you realise how lucky we are to be able to see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014

We visited out of curiosity because of the high ranking which this place gets in the Hong Kong attractions.
We were not disappointed, the whole experience is quite humbling.
In complete darkness and with only the help of a cane and the voice of your guide you pass through a series of areas where you begin to understand what it is like to be blind and how it heightens the use of your other senses.
It takes 75 to 90 minutes in total and it's probably with contacting them in advance to make sure that they have a tour in English at the time you want to go.

“A special tour in life”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2014

I have never had this kind of experience before and it is absolutely worthwhile to have in one’s life. I could say, if you don’t go to the exhibition, you will never know the world and the life of the blind people. But… but actually, I was quite afraid initially as I could see nothing but darkness. However, I felt much more better and even interesting just after a while. Maybe it’s because the tour guide had given me this kind of feeling. By the way, I think the time and the place are well-organize and can really give people a real-life experience of people in blindness. Last words, people without sight can also have a colourful life inside.

“Good experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

Great to show how much we rely on our sense of sight and amazing how you can get used to being without it. As others have said, it was a bit out of the way and I did feel they could have done a few more activities but still a recomended experience.
