“Excellent value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2010

Lee Garden was an excellent value! The room was teeny tiny-- I laughed when I saw it. But it had a twin bed in it, a small flat screen TV, a/c, free Wifi, and a private bathroom. That was all I needed for my night in HK. The staff was very friendly. Having a plug adapter in the room already and some toiletries were nice touches. My only complaint was that there wasn't a top sheet- just a blanket. A top sheet would have been a nice addition. There was also no common area. Overall though, it was a great deal.

This was the last leg of a trip for myself and my college-age daughter. The room was a good size for Hong Kong standards (we asked for a large twin). It was a block from the MTR station - so access was very easy. Very convenient location. There are bakeries nearby for breakfast and ATMs on the same block. It was very clean and very safe. I heard one of the staff speak Tagalog to another of her staff, Japanese to a guest, Spanish to someone else, and perfect English to me. On our last night we were able to borrow a scale to weigh our luggage. Since we had to travel stand-by, they said we could come back if we couldn't make our flight. No frills but a good value. I'd would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here for only one night, but I was very satisfied with what I was provided with. I chose the very inexpensive shared washroom option and was happy to see that everything was quite clean. The rooms are small, but if anyone has stayed in a business hotel in Japan it's about the same feeling. Possibly a little bit more narrow but definitely not terrible. There are a couple of amenities provided which is a life saver for those who like myself want to take a shower as soon as they get out of the muggy weather outside.
Overall I'd say you get what you pay for and have no complaints.

Stayed at Lee Garden Guest House for a week of Hong Kong excitement! Service was really good, the staff are friendly and very helpful for finding services around the place. Room was cleaned everyday and share bathroom a few times during the day. The room was very small however you can't ever expect much more in Hong Kong but quite clean. Downside was nowhere to hang out at the guest house ie. common room, rooftop bar, restaurant. The location was great on Cameron Road, just down the road from all the action on Nathan Road. Close walk to many different eateries, shops, ferries and MTR station. Massages offered along the street, although seeming dodgy, well worth it after a day of walking!

One night here was sufficient to make me feel claustrophobic. One of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in my life.. but if one is travelling on a (really really) tight budget and doesnt mind small rooms, the place is excellent. The upmost level of hospitality and the staff goes to any level to ensure that the customer gets what he requires.

The staff at Lee Gardens are wonderful; very friendly and helpful, with most speaking fairly good English. The location on Cameron Road was excellent; right in the heart of Kowloon and very convenient to all public transport and eateries. Yes, the budget twin room was small, but this seems to be the norm in Hong Kong unless you are willing to spend up big. However, the entire guesthouse was spotless, and little touches like fresh towels and in-room tv's made the stay comfortable. Would certainly recommend Lee Gardens for the budget traveller, as it was very safe and clean, with lovely staff.

A nice place with extremely small rooms, but the hotel management has taken care of your every possible problem and their best possible solutions including small ones like electric plug adapter, and big ones like theme park tickets and tour arrangements . Location is also very convenient as there are plenty of Indian restaurents and convenience stores.Except the room size place can be called nice.
