“Nearest hotel to Times Square”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2012

Stayed in this hotel in March with my family. Decor modern and tasteful. Their standard room is quite small but this is normal by HK standard. We upgraded one room to a deluxe which is much roomier and comfortable. Management must have read earlier Trip Advisers reviews cause they have installed venetian blinds in the bathrooms but even so, I cannot share this room with anyone but my husband!
Beds are comfortable and room newly furnished and very clean. There are ample storage spaces and even space for one large luggage. I like that is is very near Times Square and MTR. Less than 200m away, there is a interesting daytime street market which converts into seafood restaurants at night. We didn't eat there but seafood looks fresh.

Room Tip: Choose high floor for unblocked view. Some reviewers complain about the noise but we had a room on 2...

The hotel is about 10mins walk from the MTR station where Times Square is also located.
There are plenty of shops to explore in Times Square as well as around Times Square. Sogo is about 10mins walk away. Tram station is also about 10mins walk away and you can take a scenic ride to explore Hong Kong Island.

We are very grateful to their friendly and responsible hotel staff :D.
Housekeeping alerted the Front Desk that our room door was opened and check the CCTV to ensure that no one has entered our room. They called us immediately to alert us and deactivated the cardkey.

The rooms are cosy and clean :)

Butterfly hotel near the butterfly valley is a great location to explore the city. Thor standard room was not superbug big but convenient and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful, our reason to recommend this hotel over others.

We stayed in a deluxe room for five days. Though the room is not as large as it looks in the official pictures, it is very well laid out with a dedicated space for everything. For example, the cupboard space is enough for two people’s clothes for about 7 days and suitcases can also be tucked into the cupboard. Overall, it is a clean and organized hotel. We needed an early check-in and late check-out and the hotel was kind enough to accommodate both the requirements. Location is good since the MTR at Times Square is only a short walk. And the tram runs on this road. The Wan Chai Wet Market, located just behind the hotel, is the place for fresh seafood and a rather interesting place to walk thru.

Room Tip: If you like to sleep late in the mornings, put the ‘do not disturb’ sign on your door otherwise hous...

the hotel is clean, modern and reasonably well positioned in hong kong. Check-in was good, excellent free wifi, very few english channels on the TV.
The only downside of this hotel is the size of the rooms, although I think this is a common problem in Hong Kong

I have stayed at this hotel twice and was pleased with the service and location of the hotel. It was a quick was to Causeway Bay, Times Square and MTR. Room service was very good. Internet access was extremely fast for a hotel. The only issue was that the room temperature cannot be regulated in the room so that the rooms becomes very cold in the night. The regulator on the wall just doesn't work. And the room becomes cold as anywhere indoor in Hong Kong. Turning off the air conditioning is not an option because it becomes too warm.

The location of the hotel was convenient, close to MRT, SOGO and Time Square, with heaps of restaurants around. Although the room was small as expected in HK, it was very well-designed. I stayed at the 18th floor, but there was no much view out there, all blocked by the buildings around.

The only thing was that I booked for a superior room and I arrived at around 2pm, but I was told that the room was still not available. The hotel staff suggested me taking an upgrade to the deluxe room (cost me HK$220 per night) otherwise I would have to wait for another 40mins to an hour! I still had plans with friends on that day, so couldn't wait and paid for the upgrade. Considering the checkout time being 12pm as most other hotels in Asia, I simply cannot figure out why the room wasn't ready at 2pm! Was this a way to trick me to get an upgrade?

I took the Airport Express (HK$100 one-way) to the Hong Kong Station and realised that there was no shuttle bus to the hotel, therefore had to call a taxi (cost me $38). Instead, you can take MTR to Causeway Bay and walk to the hotel (about 10 to 15 mins) - probably not the best way for travelers with luggages tho!
