“Great area to stay in, very small rooms and bathrooms.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013 via mobile

The location of the hotel is fantastic, being more in a residential area and not in the heart of the city is great, fantastic authentic food always near by.

The hotel offers a shuttle bus to Nathan road quite regularly, which is very convenient.

The breakfast is great, no faults there.

If we were to return, I could be persuaded to stay again if the price was right.

I stayed at the hotel in March 2013 for four nights. The hotel location is not served via the MTR. But, the regular shuttles to and from Nathan road were quite convenient. The room sizes are good, but bathrooms could have been bigger. I arrived at the hotel at 10 am in the morning but no rooms were available for early check-in, had to wait till 2 for a room.
Ordered breakfast via room-service one morning, and was quite average. Overall an avergae hotel to stay at.

Stayed here for three nights before going off backpacking! Loved it, got such a good nights sleep each night, the only downside was the location but even so it's not really a problem as there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the nearest MTR station... did enjoy my stay here and if ever to return to Hong Kong would stay again...

The hotel is located in an older neighborhood that is not served by the subway yet. But the hotel runs regular shuttles to the shopping district. And public bus stops are a few blocks away if you feel adventurous. The rooms are clean and reasonable sized for a populous city. Staff is very friendly, and as others have said, the pool is great. Other than the slight drawback of location, it is a great hotel.

This hotel has a fabulous pool, which is the reason that we chose it. It really is better than the photographs show. We stayed at the hotel for four nights with our kids in one room and us in the other. While small, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Minimal comforts were provided, we had to ask for glasses and ironing boards etc were only available on request. The staff were all extremely helpful, in particular the pool staff and the pool bar staff were fantastic. We ate in the pool bar twice and found the food good but very expensive. Other nights we went down into the local area where we found cheap eateries. The hotel is some distance from Kowloon and Hong Kong action, however Taxis are so cheap that we did not find it a problem. Rather, it was a plus looking at a non- touristy area.

Booked this hotel after reading a variety of reviews. Third trip to HK for holiday.
Biggest thing is location.
Whilst there is a new MTR opening closer (next year or two )it is still a hassel to get to Hong Kong Island or even Nathain St. Taxi costs $40 to 50 hk dollars. If the hotel put on another shuttle bus at peak hours it would help.
Rooms very good, service very good, internet $120 per device per 24hrs..very poor!!
Meals OK but could not get Chinese meal, cook gone home. There are a few restaurants around the area but Japanese???
Pool OK but no drink service at pool area had to go to garden bar
Whilst the breakfast buffet was not bad it was not good enough to get us back each morning
as it was not included in the cost of accommodation paying about $150hk was far too much

Personally would not stay there again, just as good value closer to Kowloon or on HK island itself

Room Tip: as with most HK rooms get as high as you can
