“Tidy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

Tidy, clean room. Large pool area. About 10-15 walk to main shopping area and markets.
Next time, I will probably try to get a big closer to the action, but good hotel, nice staff.
They have shuttle buses but they were quite busy, so sometimes had to wait for the next bus as it was full. We booked a double/queen bed and it was too single beds pushed together which is fine, but I think they should have put the sheets etc over them both to make it one bed instead of 2. Happy enough for the short stay over, but would consider another place next time.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days in the end of May 2013. When i booked i was told that this is a 4star category hotel but to my surprise it didnt match to a 2star category hotel at chennai. It has 21 floors and we stayed in the a9th floor. Ours was a tripple sharing and we were shocked when we saw the third cot put just near the room entrance without making us able to access the cupboard/closet. We didnt have much space for our luggage nor to walk from one end to other in the room. 80% of the staff doesnt know to smile and some are very rude. They dont give a proper welcome to the guests. I was very annoyed when the three of the staff were having a chat standing right in front of the entrance when we were entering to checking-in without giving us way until we looked stunned at what they were doing.
We were asked to pay 2000HK$ as caution deposit. Morning buffet was gud with different varieties from continental, japanese and Indian. The surrounding had some small restaurants and eatouts and even couple of 7-11 outlets. So we had no worries to eat outside at nights and have a walk.
Wifi at lobby or rooms is chargeable. concierge are helpful.
Can opt the place if you are not too much bothered abt the size of the rooms and the staff service.

We have booked this hotel for 5 Nights (2 rooms), after long flight (14Hrs) it took furhter 45 min to check in, reception staff tried to sell other facilites ie WIFI and breakfast, room was not cleaned had to call House keeping , coffee mug were left unclenaed, upon check out I was asked to surrender plastic door key or pay penalty, if remember correct name Kevin the duty manager was very rude and arogant, I forgot my Nikon camera charger in the bedroom, hotel failed to find it infact after three calls I managed to get through(We clearly remember that we had left battery charger in the socket), very very poor service ,

The hotel is very nice, because the price is not expensive and the room is clean and not small.

However the location is not very convenient, so I recommend only for travelers which have been to HK a lot of times so far to this hotel.

They have a shuttle bus service for a whole day, however, if you miss the buses, you should take a taxi.
The cost is about 30 up to 50 HKD from Thim Sha Tsui.
There is a few local bus stops in front of the hotel, however, it is very difficult to take for tourists.

There is a nice restaurant in the hotel, but the closed time is very early. I missed it every day.

There is a 7-11, a few restaurants, and a massage shop near there.

We have been booked in this hotel by our Travelling Agent. Myself and my wife stayed for two days in this hotel. It is located in an interior place. The rooms were small. For internet and wifi access this hotel charges 160 hongkong dollars. We have seen huge number of chinese tourists coming and going and there is not enough space in reception lobby. The tourist guides ask the customers staying in the hotel to come to the lobby and wait at a particular time for pick up in their vehicles. But the space in the lobby is not enough for the guests. There is a small coffee shop in the lobby and there are some seats available there. But the coffee shop girl allow you to sit there only when you buy some thing there. Infact we have asked to get up and stand in the lobby. Customer service and prompt reply to the guests is almost absent.

Room Tip: Rooms in the upper floors are better

went in the last week of may for a family holiday. stayed for five nights. was given a free room upgrade (same category of room although on a higher floor). Lobby was small with seating available only in the coffee shop. check in was quick but the reception people were asking for 2500 HK$ security which is negotiable if u dont want to use the fax and the room bar. rooms were clean and neat although a bit small (as in rest of hong kong). It looks like a popular destination for small tourist groups as there was always rush in the lobby. Variety was there in the breakfast buffet although the quality was average. could have been better. shuttle service was there on a regular basis to the subway station but the drivers are very rude.
room service took around 45 min-1 hr. surprisingly no crockery and cutlery was available (plates, glasses , spoons even if u ask for it). it will be send only if you order something from the kitchen. would i stay there again-probably not

Room Tip: club rooms are better and the ones on the higher floor

Stayed for 3 nights while in Hong Kong and rating was just OK. Far from the beaten track but hotel offers a regular shuttle service to the subway station. Shuttle service was always on time and reliable. Hotel was just OK with small rooms. Morning buffet included with the room was good with a lot of choices. If you're looking only for a place to crash while in Hong Kong and plan on roaming the city, this might be OK. Nothing to se though within walking distance of hotel.
