We wanted to try a Wagyu steak and got our chance when we walked past Wagyu at lunchtime on our last day in HK. The restaurant was full except for one table which was in prime position in front of the open folding doors. So we had the best table in the place by pure chance. At lunch most of the diners were business people and the atmosphere is very buzzy.
Our starters were good but not exceptional, but our steaks were excellent. Service was good but not particularly friendly.
It's expensive, but then it was arguably the best beef in the world in a very expensive city.
