“Was okay..”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

Location: 1min away from TST Exit B (Cameron Road)

Service: Duty manager (guy) and check-in staff (slim lady with specs) was nice and friendly. Check-in and out was pretty quick. Deposit: HK$500 (3 nights stay)

Room: Stayed in a standard double room. Room was small but enough space for me as i was a lone traveller. TV was placed on top of the desk, a little small for my liking, and 3 channels with the better movies were fuzzy (bad reception probably). but there was soccer match channel, and a good mix of KBS, cantonese movies, chinese programes, discovery channel. When i first checked in, there were 2 bottles of drinking water provided in room. i finished it and there wasn't any more bottles provided in the subsequent days. not sure if its just a one-off 2 bottles provided or housekeeping forgot to provide the next few days. There was in-room safe, and a wardrobe. hot water kettle and tea cups provided, as well as mini fridge. there was a work desk (plenty of space even though tv was on the end of it), and a chair. i liked that the bathroom was of a good size with a spacey sink area and enough space for all the makeup and whatever products you had that could be placed there. bathroom amenities were also available. water pressure and hot water from shower was great.

Wifi: i couldnt connect to the wifi in my room, but i connected to the wifi from the room above mine, and connection was still good. so no problems there. (good thing since i chose this hotel cuz of location and more imptly free wifi)

Cons: the pillows were really bad. too flat and soft, there were 4 of these flat pillows, using 2 for my head was a little too flat/low, using 3 would be propped up too high. didn't have a very good sleep as such.

To the airport, cross over the opposite side along Nathan Road, and take the A21 bus to the airport, or take a cab. I took a cab, and it cost HK$210.

Overall, for the price i paid, i would probably would look for other hotels, which would hopefully give me better pillows for a good rest, and enough drinking water.

Nice little hotel on Cameron Rd. Very close to the MTR and a lively area in Kowloon. It was very clean - but average rooms, with average beds, and average staff. I would stay here again for a quick layover in Hong Kong.

First of, we chose Hotel Benito cos the name of my boyfriend's nephew is Benito haha and I'm glad we did! The hotel isn't five star but I give it five stars for average budget travelers! When we got there, I found out that it's owned by my brother's girlfriend's family too! We dint get discount tho but it's all good haha, dint ask for it anyway.

Anyhow.. location is great and pretty safe cos it's near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR and literally just a few steps away from Nathan Road. The staff were very nice and accommodating too. Dint have any trouble during our stay 'cept that I noticed if you are the first to take a shower the hot water takes a few minutes to come but other than that.. Hotel Benito is a great hotel!

Stayed there for 4D-3N (Feb22-25) at the Family Room which conveniently fits six and a child. There were 3 double/twin beds and the room is spacious enough, super clean.. especially the bathroom! So if you're looking for a great deal I totally recommend Hotel Benito! (:

Stayed from 8 to 11 Feb 2013 which happens to be Hong Kong Lunar New Year. The Hotel is located along Cameron Lane just off Cameron Road which is a minute walk from the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Exit B1. Locations is off Nathan Road, the shopping belt of HK.

Check in was fast and there is 2 elevators. Was assigned to Room 606. Room is clean and bathroom is small but good enough. The shower cubicle is dim. Bed is comfortable but the pillow is too soft for my liking. No breadfast is provided as there are alot of local eateries around. There is also a 24hr Macdonal along Cameron Road.

For loal eateries, you can try Hau Fook Street, Kimberly Rod, Hart Avenue. Further away about 5 minute walk is the Lock Road. Recommended food is the local Wan Ton Noodle with the fresh prawn and their porridge.

Overall It is good for its conveniences and provide the basics. If you are looking to be pampered, forget about this place as the only facility is the lounge with some free wifi laptops. In the room there is a Apple Docking Station where you can charge your Iphone and play music from it.

Their service is excellent and the staff is friendly. Would go back if I am coming back to HK.

Room Tip: To choose the higher floor and away from the 2 elevators.

Stayed here for two nights over Chinese New Year, the location was ideal just off Nathan road where the parade came down and only ten minutes walk away from the ferry terminal. Also there is a metro station just at the end of the street one minute away. So just great for exploring all areas of Hong Kong. The hotel staff were very professional and efficient. They gave us maps and a hongkong magazine as soon as we arrived - we had already been in hongkong a few days so didn't have any questions to ask them but they seemed very open to any questions or any help we required. The hotel is modern decor, the room was white and wooden and spacious with a very clean modern bathroom and big windows looking onto the bustling Cameron road (didn't notice any noise during the night so this central location doesn't seem to have any noise pollution problems). There were stairs and a lift. There is also a lounge area provided for guests on the first floor which is always nice to have somewhere else you can hang out not in your bedroom. Flat screen tv with English channels was in the bedroom. The wifi access was great, I've had trouble all over china not getting good/any signal in the bedroom and only getting sufficient signal in the lobby but here it worked everywhere no problem.

We did pay more for this hotel than many other places we stayed in china but I get the feeling that all accommodation in HongKong forces you over your usual budget especially when we were going during new year and we didn't want to stay in any high-rise hotels (as my mother is scared of going in lifts, i had to search a long time on tripadvisor for any hotel reviews mentioning stairs as a feature of the hotel!)

Room Tip: We had a family room on the first floor that was two separate rooms both with double beds and both w...

We stayed here last Nov. 27-30, 2012 as a family of 6, 4 of which are adults and 2 were kids. We booked the family room which consist of 3 queen beds and a separate shower and bath. We found the room spacious and very clean. Staffs were helpful and always smiles at us everytime we come back to the hotel. They were even kind enough to write our destination in Chinese for us to be able to easily communicate with taxi drivers. We also found the hotel's airport shuttle very convenient and professional. If you'll be traveling by a large group, I recommend that you avail of this service. The kids love playing computer games in the lounge area where there are laptops available for guests needs. The location is truly superb as fastfoods such as Mcdonalds, KFC, Burger King and Yoshinoya are just across the hotel. There are also bakeshops that sells tasty breads for hunger quick fix. 7/11 is just around the corner, taxi stand is outside the hotel while MTR is 10 steps away from the doorway. Even though were just on the 2nd floor we can hear no noise coming from the apparently busy outside surrounding which is great for sleeping. One need not go far when it comes to shopping for Granville Road is just a block away. We were ecstatic to explore this area for lots of stuffs could be bought here. Shops as Cotton On, Bossini, Sasa, Bonjour and Lung Shing Dispensary line up this street for your taking. Lots of street foods can also be bought here and the street before Granville just past Cameron Lane is where we found some eateries selling authentic chinese noodles and dimsums. Over all, aside from the somewhat expensive rate of the hotel ( that doesnt include breakfast ) we find it the best place to stay along TST. The convenience and the friendly staff made the most of our stay in Hong Kong a truly pleasant one.

Room Tip: Family rooms are way lot bigger than the standard ones. There are enough spaces to put your luggages...

Stayed for 3 nights.
Really small room, no place to walk in the room.
TV was small too. Bed is hard.
If you just wanna get a place to sleep, it's a good choice.
Very near the MTR station.
Staffs are friendly, a business lounge is provided to suft the web( using their laptop). Free wifi in rooms too.
Shower place is too narrow for a fat guy.
However, it's well-maintained, very clean.
I think the only pro is their location.
