If this is one of the best restaurants in Beijing, then the city is in a sorrowful state. You can get a better meal at any Chinese restaurant in Podunk, U.S.A. I ordered pork. It looked tasty until I discovered that every piece was 90% fat. My wife had bland fried rice. The egg rolls were largely devoid of both flavor and content. This is the second night we've tried to get cheap in Beijing and struck out. Now we're thinking if we want a decent meal, we're going to have to pay for it.
