“Great place to stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

Very nice hotel. Large rooms & bath area. Lounge comfy with many separate couch & seating areas along with relaxing piano music.
If you do not want "another" Chinese meal do not pass up going to Deccapo in the hotel. The food was wonderful. It was expensive with drinks, appetizers, entrees & desserts for two but worth every penny.
All in all---this is a great place to stay as I said in the title.

My wife and I Stayed at the Regent for 7 night as part of our honeymoon, the staff is very friendly and they do speak pretty decent English.
we stayed at the executive room which was specious with lots of room and we had our breakfast on the regent club floor, food selection is limited, but it has something for everybody.

Superbly located, close to pedestrianised shopping street and Tian. Sq. The Regent really was a luxurious choice. Large spacious rooms with remote blinds in the faultless bathroom that gave an extra feeling of space.
Great breakfast, friendly staff, a real treat

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the main street. The lights at night are worth viewing. No Problem wit...

A true five star, great place to do business. The area is upmarket and was part of Beijing's facelift for the olimpics in 2008. Its not authentic or historic Beijing but rather the modern face of China. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Great spacious rooms, whith remote control blinds in the bathroom, luxury toiletries and a great view of the city.

The hotel is not cheap, but the standard of service is excellent. Staff took time to be helpful and were uniformly courteous. Tipping is not encouraged in China which makes the good service even more welcome.

The bed was very comfortable - not a feature in many hotels. The bathroom was delightful - you could look out over the city while having a bath! Complementary apples and water were appreciated.

My only quibble is that only instant coffee was provided, not really acceptable in a 5 star I think.

Room Tip: high up overlooking the garden was great.

Very conveniently located in the downtown. Could walk to the Night Market. Spacious room. Separate shower and bathtub. Breakfasts were excellent - lots of variety. Very quiet - didn't hear street noise or noise in hall. The only thing I didn't like was the latches on the doors of the wardrobe - they clinked and banged every time you opened and closed them. There was complimentary bottled water.
