“This is it if you need to be close to Financial Street”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

You will have a choice of staying at Westin or Ritz if you want to be close to the Financial Street. Both hotels are nice but Ritz is probably one notch higher than Ritz in terms of service and quality of dining. If you stay there often, they will also upgrade you to a better room. I stayed both hotels but I got upgraded more often at Ritz. I also like their Pool and Gym facilities.

This is a luxury building in the core area of Beijing, with excellent fitness center and swimming pool. The room is big with modern decor. The Green Fish restaurant in the first floor is also highly recommended.

The hotel is the right choice for business purpose. The only problem is the price:)

Stayed as part of a group tour. Really started out the tour in style. Best ever hotel. The room, the staff, the amenities and best of all, the breakfast which is perhaps the best I have ever had, anywhere (even at home!!) You won't find a better place in Beijing.

It is very difficult to find a fault with this hotel, from the welcoming interior, the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the quality of the rooms and facilities. The food and variety also, is as good as you will find anywhere in the world. Coupled to that, it is in a very good position to visit the City. In fact I found it so good there is no adverse comment to make.

Stayed for two nights as part of a uniworld trafalger tour no idea as to how much it cost but our stay was excellent. The buffet breakfast is as good as you can get anywhere and the staff are there to help at every turn. If you just want fast food there is a mall just across the street and you can find just what ever you want there. The hotel will also change your US cash to yen at the going rate.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. There is no reason to go into details. Everything was excellent, and generally expensive, although we stayed here as part of a package tour so I have no idea what the tour operator paid per room. Right next door is a mall with shopping including a nice market where I could buy cheap beer to replace the expensive beer from the mini bar. Nearby are restaurants, although we did not use any. The breakfast was truly outstanding.

Room Tip: Doubt there is a bad room. Nothing much to see in the area, so the view from the room is not importa...

Stayed here for three nights as part of our Viking Cruises trip of China. Arrived crumpled and tired but perked up when we saw our room. Loads of room, heavenly bed, desk and office area, spacious well equipped bathroom. Overall the hotel is lovely. The front reception lounge area has musicians playing in the evening, piano and jazz band when we were there. Free wifi in reception. Enormous buffet breakfast with loads of choice - fruit selection is particularly good. Really enjoyed our time here but, buyer beware, wine and most alcoholic beverages are a horrendous price!
