“Excellent place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

Stayed for two nights as part of a uniworld trafalger tour no idea as to how much it cost but our stay was excellent. The buffet breakfast is as good as you can get anywhere and the staff are there to help at every turn. If you just want fast food there is a mall just across the street and you can find just what ever you want there. The hotel will also change your US cash to yen at the going rate.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. There is no reason to go into details. Everything was excellent, and generally expensive, although we stayed here as part of a package tour so I have no idea what the tour operator paid per room. Right next door is a mall with shopping including a nice market where I could buy cheap beer to replace the expensive beer from the mini bar. Nearby are restaurants, although we did not use any. The breakfast was truly outstanding.

Room Tip: Doubt there is a bad room. Nothing much to see in the area, so the view from the room is not importa...

Stayed here for three nights as part of our Viking Cruises trip of China. Arrived crumpled and tired but perked up when we saw our room. Loads of room, heavenly bed, desk and office area, spacious well equipped bathroom. Overall the hotel is lovely. The front reception lounge area has musicians playing in the evening, piano and jazz band when we were there. Free wifi in reception. Enormous buffet breakfast with loads of choice - fruit selection is particularly good. Really enjoyed our time here but, buyer beware, wine and most alcoholic beverages are a horrendous price!

One of the best hotels in this city. Slew of service staff coming to room for personal attendence. Great decoration both in room and in public areas. The room is clean and surprisingly quiet despite being next to a busy street in downtown, thanks to its sound-proof windows and walls. Bed is very comfortable. The lobby is small probably due to real estate constraint. There is a small green area around the hotel which is rare for this busy city. Public transportation isn't exactly convenient and many cab drivers don't quite know about this hotel. Overall a good choice for business and also for personal trip.

Just got back yesterday, got 2 rooms, one with king and one with 2 double; Great view, there is so much to see and the concierge gave us the best guide.
The buffet breakfast, everything you want, hot or cold, great coffee, fresh fruits and juice from 6 am!
Free wi-fi, the kids loved the place!

Went to other hotels but this is the one for Beijing.

Room Tip: Just e-mail the hotel to confirm high floor, its a great view!

We spent 6 nights at the The Ritz-Carlton and I have to say that the place is great with excellent service. Staff were very attentive, the service from the checking in to leaving the Hotel was another great relaxing experience. We didn't have to worry about a thing at all, even delayed of luggage being handled with satisfactions. I felt well-looked after and welcomed, especially by the doormen who greeted me each time I went in or out of the hotel. The housekeeping also tip-top, very clean room with a very secured security services. Love the Club lounge, with good breakfast selection, freshly squeezed juices, and enjoyed most were the high tea.
Decided to stay in on the last day of the trip and spent the whole day in the club house, a very clean and tidy studio in which I had my yoga and had good half hr cross training at the gym. Truly enjoyed every facilities in the club house, relax and had great time at the indoor swimming pool which truly makes my holiday a memorable one. Thanks The Ritz Carlton for bringing us such a wonderful trip and memory in Beijing. Completely pleasant and recommended hotel!

We had an amazing experience when we stayed at this hotel. The staffs were professional and helped us in every way they could. They took care of everything for us. The food was amazing at each of the restaurants. All the staffs are friendly. The room was large and the view is excellent. Bathroom was to die for. We enjoyed the tv in the bathroom. The room was pretty and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is going to Beijing.
