Hotel is about 45 minute walk south of Tiananmen Square in an area which is not particularly a tourist area. This hotel provides clean, comfortable accommodation with rooms a bit on the small side. Seems to cater mainly to Japanese travellers and staff have very little English, however check-in, check-out and money exchange can be completed without too much hassle. Hotel has bowling alley and billiards room. Buffet breakfast is adequate rather than great but hot dishes are not kept warm enough. Very hard beds. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.
