This hotel is lovely. The rooms are clean, the staff is polite and most speak English, and it is located just a few blocks from Forbidden City. I stayed at club level, with complementary wi-fi, breakfast, and happy hour (the happy hour snacks comprised my dinner one night). The staff in the Club Level dining area are delightful and make it a point to remember your order (how you like your coffee, still or sparkling water, etc). Also- be sure to pack your swim suit- the hotel pool is a hidden gem, as are the whirlpool, sauna and steam room offered at no charge in the fitness center. The hotel is located above a shopping mall with a lot of food choices and high-end shops. I took a private tour of the Great Wall organized by the concierge, it was a little pricey but worth it- prompt, good English speaker, clean car, safe driver. I enjoyed dinner in Made in China and would recommend it (make reservations), dinner at another in hotel restaurant, Noble Court, paled in comparison to Made in China.
