I used to stay at this hotel before the renovation but swapped the the Millenium round the corner last year. I went back to the Kerry on this visit and I will not stick with it. The rooms are well equipped (one switch to turn off the lights finally!). The wifi is free (if a but slow). The service excellent. The toilets are computerised so you can choose the old stay operation or the modern all singing all dancing actions..... Check-in and out were fast and efficient. If you use business hotels on the east side of town then certainly try this again....

It has been renovated recently therefore there is a little bit smell when I stayed in the hotel at the end of Dec. '12. However it could be one of my best experiences of hotels in Beijing indeed. One of the surprises was that they provided the free mini bar and refill it everyday. This is a small deal but really considerately for the guest. The location is also very good so it is very nice for biz trip staying. Oh BTW the breakfast is also very good too.

I've stayed three separate times in the past months on the executive floors at the newly renovated Kerry Hotel. The renovation is spectacular....clean, stylish, comfortable. If readers are anything like me, they appreciate bathROOMS with real doors and privacy rather than having to brush one's teeth in a cubicle in the main room or hassling with closing curtains or blinds to take a shower in privacy. It's wonderful to have light switches that are clearly labeled and simple to operate! Lots of fresh fruit every day and a refrigerator full of free soft drinks and beer. Yes, there are hi-tech touches such as the full-on Japanese toilet that raises its lid in salute when you open the door and flushes itself and closes when you leave. Yes, it's nifty to have a digital clock in the bathroom mirror. But, contrary to many more trendy hotels, these modern touches add to one's comfort rather than make one feel that one is locked in a strange spaceship without an instruction manual.

The food in the executive lounge is the most extensive I have ever seen....anywhere. And it's creative and interesting as well. The whole hotel is modern, high-tech, clean.....and most importantly for a frequent traveler....understandably comfortable!

A very good hotel where the management clearly try hard to achieve - and do achieve. The total package is a vey good experience and I will use again. The rooms, service, food and faciites are very good. I am not sure if the price is competive, but it's okay. Not the best hotel I have used in China but close to it.
