Another great Kerry Hotel with an excellent Club Lounge and service. The made to order station completely spoiled me and there is nothing like checking in with a glass of champagne. The heated toilet seats and clock in the bathroom mirror were those little extras that keep me coming back to Kerry properties.

Kerry Hotel unremarkable one. A connecting bridge to a high-end shopping centre that announces it as a luxury property. Friendly staffs are very well conversant in English.
The rooms are generous in size with standard decoration. The clever detail of a peekaboo door to hide electronics ports was nice. I was staing on the 12th floor and the room was great. It was very clean and inviting, It was very quiet and I was very pleasantly surprised to see the fancy heated toilet seat by Toto. also the Rain Shower... it requires special mention.
Breakfast was impressive, with many hot stations serving different cuisines and a lot of fresh fruit, including mangoes! A rare and welcome treat. Location was very good, especially if you're working in the Central Business District. Cabs are plentiful and the concierge will be on hand to get them for you. It's definitely recommended, especially for business travellers

As you walk through the doors the unforgettable Shangri La Hotels fragrance hits you, instantly reminding Shangri La lovers that you are home. Sadly the Kerry is otherwise an unremarkable hotel with nothing except for a connecting bridge to a high-end shopping centre that announces it as a luxury property. The rooms are generous in size with standard decoration. The clever detail of a peekaboo door to hide electronics ports was nice but not enough to extract a 'wow'. During my recent stay there was a strange smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom which was enough to raise concerns about but nothing could be done to resolve it. Food from the room service menu was hit and miss (the tofu burger was a delicious surprise), the gym was being refurbished and I worked out in a ballroom with cigarette smoke wafting in from adjoining rooms. It was generally difficult communicating with staff even when writing things down in Chinese and using copious amounts of sign language. My stay was not an unpleasant one but yet it wasn't an outstanding one.

Kerry Hotel has fantastic service and great facilities. I was lucky to stay on the 21st floor and the room was great. It was very clean and inviting, and small touches like providing me with stationery items was deeply appreciated. It was very quiet and I was very pleasantly surprised to see the heated toilet seat - definitely welcome during cold winters! Toiletries were my favourite L'Occitane - they definitely did pay attention to even the quality of their products.

I used the hotel transport and this is a good choice for anyone reaching Beijing late at night. My flight was delayed and only arrived in Beijing at 130am. There was someone who escorted right from my plane's gate through immigration - very impressive. The drive was extremely comfortable and they even had an iPad for me to use, sign of keeping up with the times.
