Just had a fabulous 6 nights in Beijing. This hotel is perfect for walking anywhere in central Beijing. Room lovely, staff extremely helpful. 430yuan per night including breakfast, for double room. Some western bits of breakfast, they will griddle you an egg on demand. Beware the trip to the Great Wall includes Ming Tombs, Jade Factory and Ancient Chinese Medicine factory where you can have a consultation with a 'Doctor' and buy your 'prescription'. The wall is worth a look and the 'mobility challenged' can take the cable car to near the top. Acrobat show is amazing. 'Opera' is very overpriced, might be worth sorting that out independently. VERY IMPORTANT to get hotel to write the name and address of the hotel in chinese. Taxi drivers obviously don't speak or read English. Hotel staff will happily write the chinese for wherever you want to go too. Having said that you can get round easily by tube and bus and walking. Tube station at end of hutong. Can't praise Tian Rui enough.

We stayed at Tianrui for three nights as part of a China package tour. The rooms were tidy and the hotel had all the ammenities required. We ate breakfast at the hotel every morning, while options were limited there is nothing wrong with eggs, toast and coffee. It's a short walk to the Wangfujing shopping area and night market.

We stayed in the Tianrui hotel for 3 days, and were pleasantly surprised by the location, the quality of the rooms and the friendly service. The receptionist spoke excellent English and seemed really keen to make our stay a good one.

Stayed in this hotel as part of an organized trip through China. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Charming hotel. Great location for the subway and town centre.

My friend and I and my baby stayed at this hotel for a night in order to see a bit of Beijing. We choose this hotel because of what fellow travelers had to say about it, the location and price. Indeed, it was a great location and we it was a short walk to main tourist places. The location of the hotel was great.

I had some problems during the check-in process for various reasons that had nothing to do with the hotel (my passport!) and the general manager sorted everything out. One of the front staff personal was unwilling to help me out with my situation and basically I was going to have to go to a different hotel. I asked to talk to the manager and after talking to him, he sorted everything out and totally resolved the situation. I can't express what a difference it made! He was great and one of the employees in training was also really kind and quick on her feet. They spoke good English too.

The rooms were comfortable and nice. Plenty of space. The cafe staff were very friendly with my baby and helped clean up his bib, his food bowls, etc and gave him things to play with.

We stayed in the hotel for the night and left our luggage there during the day. They held it and helped us get a taxi and everything. Very courteous.

Our taxi had no idea where the hotel was and even though he called the hotel and asked lots of other people, he really struggled to find it. I'm not sure if it's possible before you go there to have a map of where the hotel is located in reference to the area. I think it would be worth it so that you don't drive around too much.

I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a good, clean, international-orientated hotel and within walking distance of some main sights.

Our experience at the Beijing Tianrui Hotel began at the airport when we were picked up by Daniel who took us to our hotel, about an hour away. The hotel staff welcomed us, and reviewed our stay details. The hotel staff spoke great English, and we had no problems communicating. We found our room to be quite comfortable, and very clean, and quiet. The location was excellent. We enjoyed being in Baishu hutong and only steps away from subway #5. We found a great restaurant only a short walk away, turning right from the hotel. We also enjoyed frequenting the little shop down the street, which while small, had everything imaginable! (water, soap, batteries…the list goes on). The hotel staff were always accomodating and friendly. We made use of the WiFi in the lobby frequently. We absolutely loved the birthday cake provided free by the Tianrui Hotel, and the 50% discount on the room that night! Re: tp, unlike other hotels we’ve heard about, this one was not stingy with this item. The only initial concern we had regarding the hotel, was our bill. We did not understand why at first they charged us more than we had been quoted. However, we found out later that this was a deposit, should we use any of the hotel services…which we did not. Our money was easily refunded at the end of our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel again, and we will use it again on our next trip.

This hotel is in a good location and a good value for the price. We walked to Wangfujing, the Forbidden City, and Tienanmen Square. The room was very spacious for Asia, the staff was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed taking advantage of their cafe. Their breakfast service, though, is pretty mediocre, but you can get by on it. Free Wi-Fi in the lobby was useful.
Our only major complaint is that the bathroom was, and remained throughout the visit, really dirty. You can tell the shower has never been cleaned, nor do they clean the floor very well. They also never re-stocked the toilet paper in the bathroom.
Another minor complaint was that there was some confusion regarding the checkout date, even though everything was scheduled ahead of time. When I wanted to correct the mistake, they insisted that I just wait until the day our reservation ran out and just extend our stay by a day and pay then when I would have preferred not waiting until the last day.
Overall, great hotel with a great location.
