We've been to the bubbalicious brunch last sunday.
We got a great table next to the buffet, if you are not in the corridor, you should like the setup.
You can get as much champagne as you want, and it's a rather fair one (Moet et Chandon). Red wine from california (also free flow) was surprisingly good also.
Lamb shank was gooooood. Desserts buffet is one of the best i've seen (including haribo sweets).
Oysters were tasteless, not reacting at all to lemon (a good oyster should have a reaction when you pour lemon on its side, it means its still alive somehow). I saw the guy preparing the oysters, he washed all of them in the same basin.. You do not wash an open oyster, but just let the water out! And worse than that, not in the same basin.. if one is bad, the water will contaminate all the others.
Crab was OK, I enjoyed the flower crab quite much with wasabi mayonnaise. Sashimi cuts were not great (so so taste and cheewy cut) but hey the sea is not next door, so let's accept that.
Beef strip loin was well cooked, not very tender but reasonably tasty.
What was not OK is that out of the 8 adults 6 got sick on the next day... food poisoning. For info non-sick people seem to have skipped seafood (specially oysters/crabs). So you guys at Westin want to take a look at that... We can't be 100% sure it is related to Westin for sure, but the conicidence is rather high to suspect the brunch (I've not shared any other lunch dinner with these people before and after). That was quite a dissapointment...
