“24 Hr Dim Sum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

We went to the branch located at south of Temple of Earth Park - take subway to Yonghegong stt (line 2), just across the stt. Ate here 2 twice ( need not make reservations; just walk-in ), due to the convenient location and long operating hours.

There is a lot of variety - with some items priced @ 8.80 yuan before 5 pm. Menu - in English/Chinese with colour pictures of each item. Service staff is helpful.

Found the food reasonable, for the price paid ( though I had eaten better dim sum in Spore ).

“Nice dim sum place.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

Quite packed even in late hours.
Clean. Big menu with English and pictures. Staff don't speak English. Tasting menu 120¥ for two. Food was good, but can't say that any exceptional is there.

“Cheap & Cheerful Dimsum near the Lama Temple”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013 via mobile

This branch of the popular Cantonese restaurant chain has the nicest location of the group: a three floor, temple decorated affair just outside the South gate of Ditan Park, across the 2nd Ring Road from the Lama Temple. The DimSum is not the best in Beijing, that accolade belongs to Lei Garden, but it is inexpensive, tasty and arrives quickly. And located at the edge of some of the last authentic Hutong (alleyways) in Beijing it makes a nice place to start or finish a walking or bicycle tour of old Beijing. (There is an honest bicycle rental place attached to the Lama Temple International Youth Hostel in BeiXinQiaoTouTiao Alley a few streets South of the Lama Temple.) So a great place to take first time Beijing visitors, but also nice for a cheep and cheerful Cantonese meal with friends.

“Good Dim Sum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

Convenient location. Just take subway line 2 (circle line) to the Lama Temple. It's just across the street from the exit. Open 24-hours, they have a huge menu. Dim sum quality is always good and good value. If you go during peak dinner hours be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes.
