I recently stayed at the property for 2 nights and was pleased. The rooms were clean and comfy. The club was very modern and spacious and the breakfast and evening reception were well done. I had a problem with my room (door wouldn't open from inside the room) and they sent the maintenance folks in literally 2 mins and had another room about 1 minute after that. Also, the front desk wrote some phrases for me in Chinese which helped out tremendously!
Should be RMB100-110 for a taxi from PEK including toll

Stayed from 19th Oct to 24th Oct. Pickup by Hotel's big Audi at Beijing Airport was very efficient. The hotel is very modern, it looks like it is a part of the R&F group because there a lot of R&F related business near the hotel. The room assigned is a room with 2 double beds, the bathroom is surrounded by glass panels (you can lower the internal blinds for privacy). Beds are very comfortable, the room is west facing, can see the mountains on a clear day. There are lots of storage spaces for clothes.

Had tried the Fat Duck, Fratelli Fresh Deli and BLD for meals. Peking Duck from Fat Duck not good at all, we can see the ducks prepared well in advance and just re-heated when we order it, it is not crispy and it is not tasty at all. Fratelli Fresh Deli did quite tasty pizzas and breakfast at BLD is fine with a variety of choices. Tried once to have dinner at BLD, food was good in general and there is a 60RMB bottomless red wine offer which is not bad; however, the sushi counter serves the most bland and tasteless seafood, there is no taste for any kind of sashimi or seafood sushi; pastries at BLD is great, they are wicked and so tasty; freshly squeezed juices (or mixed ones if you want) are available on demand.

Got a couple of vouchers in the room for all food outlets in the hotel, ranging from around 10% off to around 30% off, pretty good deal if you don't want to go out after a long day of working. Had room service for a few mornings, chose Bejing breakfast set with congee, preserved vegetables, soy milk, tea, they are ok.

The hotel is just a 5 min walk to the nearest Metro (line 10) station and from there you can easily go to anywhere served by the Metro network.

Arranged a car to the airport, it is punctual and a very comfortable ride.

We stayed for 2 nights on business. Checkin was efficient and the decor is beautiful - very modern.
Good sized rooms and large bathroom, although the glass walls took a little getting use to! Good wifi in the room.
Great view from the 16th floor, but even better from the well-equipped and busy gym and pool on the 27th - the amazing lights and sights of Beijing - almost needing the sunglasses during our morning workout!
We didn't go to the restaurant for breakfast, but the room service version was lovely. We did visit both restaurants - the fat duck for Peking duck pancakes (yum!) and the Italian for pizza (also yum!). Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. 20min in a taxi to the pearl market and a large department store across the road.

We choose the Capital Hotel because of its close proximity to the tourist sites in Beijing. It's about 10 minutes walk away from the forbidden city.

We thought the hotel was very good value for money outside the peak tourist season. The staff spoke sufficient English and were very professional. The room itself was large, with two armchairs, a desk plus chair, TV and ensuite bath and shower.

The beds were very comfortable by Chinese standards. Most hotels provide very hard mattresses but this hotel had memory foam mattresses which made for a good night's sleep.

The drain was blocked in the shower, but that was fixed promptly when we told the staff. However what we found really disconcerting was that our towels and bathrobes were never changed. We knew they had not been changed because when we arrived the two towels and two bathrobes had small brown stains on them. Despite our repeated requests, these items were not changed for three days and new items were not provided. This is not the five star service we had been expecting.

Nice modern hotel just one subway stop from Guomao by subway line 1 Shuangjing station (center of central business district). Just nex to hotel, located big mall. Rooms are very clean and if you are lucky room can provide amazing view over to CBD. Breakfast was good offering wide selection of western and Chinese food.

Room Tip: Ask room where is view to North

Very modern, clean hotel with excellent service. I had opportunity to eat in the executive lounge which is large and comfortable, well catered and with helpful staff. The rooms are a good size and well appointed. Personally, I don't understand the modern trend of glass-walled bathrooms that require use of blinds for separation, but as sole user of my room, this was not an issue on this occasion.

Handy location for the underground train network, which although busy, works very well and avoids the standstill traffic in the roads. The trains also cost only RMB 2 for any length journey, including interchanges.

The room had an envelope with discount vouchers for each of the restaurants. Make sure you find this before using a hotel restaurant!

I stayed only three nights, but had no concerns and a very pleasant stay.
