“It is like being in Paris: classy, great food, perfect service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

Starting from the management, in Flo everything is simply perfect: the outside garden and the internal part (exactly like the one in Paris), the food, the wine and the service

We also tried the lunch set menu which is quite convenient. The wine is not cheap in general but you can find some affordable bottles at around 25 Euro/bottle.

The service is top level (and in China is not always so).

Very recommended

“So so”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

Large brasserie style restaurant, service was slow and food very average. Lacking in atmosphere, it probably needs to be busy to create any.

“The bathrooms are really nice”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

Are you courting a new ErNai and need to prove to her that you're worth swapping up from her previous patron? Do you need to convince a local village party chairman that you're just the guy to dump toxic chemicals in his area pre-school? Then you've found the right place to make the correct first impression. Not sure if this place is worth the dough otherwise.

My wife and I both had the 148 RMB "power lunch" set meal. The fresh bread, salads, and desserts were all really good. The main dishes, not so much. For a main, she ordered the "slowly braised boneless lamb shoulder". What she got was lamb and potato stew. It was like something I imagine Irish people eat for breakfast. Bland and boring. I selected the "House Beef Tenderloin Patty." They brought out a hamburger steak with some kind of sauce on top. It tasted like a fried hamburger steak. I'm sure I don't have to explain more.

Some of the other patrons were ordering the 2000 - 3000 + RMB seafood platters and they looked really good. The seafood is all flown in from places where the water is not polltuted with by-products from when they manufactured your iPad. Of course, for the same price in North America you could have a massive feast of the exact same food with the exact same ingredients for 10 people for the same price. But, if you're in North America, your ErNai is probably not that impressed by fresh oysters since they're available everywhere for a reasonable price.

The service was excellent. The wait staff is well-trained.

I was most impressed by the bathrooms though. I cannot tell you how many fancy restaurants I've been to in China, whose bathrooms still resemble a 1990's public HuTong restroom with squat toilets and open doors. The bathroom at this place is almost on par with a Cracker Barrel off any exit of I-95 Quite an achievment!

“Wonderful food, service, ambience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

I have to say that even though this restaurant was very expensive, we felt we got what we paid for. The waitstaff were efficient yet did not hover over us, and the dishes we chose were cooked to perfection. Sure, this is not the restaurant that I would go to often, but when you live here in Beijing, and just need a treat, this is the place to treat yourself!

“Nice decor, average otherwise”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

Had the fixed price meal (chose escargots, beef, creme brulee ) A couple of glasses of average red.. Total bill, for two came to 1100RMB.
Service fluctuated between over-hasty to neglectful, not special. Decor is good, (ambient music kept very low - a good thing). Food was average, maybe if we strayed from teh fixed price menu it would be better.
A few Bentleys, Jaguars in the parking area. A place for the local Nouveau riche to splurge.
