I stayed here for three nights in two separate business stays. Not inexpensive. Quick check in and check out with acceptable English spoken at the desk. Perfect valet service with no problems with transportation to and from the airport. Fantastic views when the Beijing air pollution permits. Very quiet rooms with high end furnishings and bath. Longest, softest bath robes I've ever encountered. Top notch staff and service. Elevators can be initially confusing but you quickly adapt; one set from the building lobby where you are greeted and directed to the 63rd floor for check in. Then a separate set to take you down to your room and yet a third to take you up to the China Grill which offers a very good buffet for breakfast and lunch. The hotel location offers everything from upscale shopping to a variety of restaurants in the building sub-level which also provides access to the Beijing subway system for the adventuresome. Travel Tip; Local taxi transportation on the fly is very challenging since government set low fares require longer trips to be profitable for the driver. Be prepared to take the subway or arrange for transportation ahead of time. "Black" taxis charge higher rates so be prepared to pay more than metered taxis should you be offered such a ride while trying to flag down a regular taxi.
