The service was great since I have landed in Beijing. The airport representative was nice, eventough he cannot speak in English but the gestures can tell that he serves the guests truly from his heart. From the breakfast experience until the departure all was just perfect.

First time experience with Park Hyatt. Quite a different one, starting from the top floor (63rd) reception lobby that offered a great 360 view of Beijing, not to be missed even if you are not staying at this hotel; 2 different elevators one to the rooms, the other to go out of the hotel which means you always have people gettin confused; rooms which open into a bathroom first before you can reach your bed, which wasnt so bad getting used to after the first day; breakfast on the topmost floor China Grill which comes with very good service; close to many fashion stores and boutiques in the mall nearby which means you are close to some very happening fashion events in the city; moderate to good conference facilities; All in all boutique luxury at its best.

Cons: As other reviewers have pointed out, quite difficult to get transportation unless you have already organised it privately, not a family type hotel at all, definitely no kids and not sure how room service works as never saw a menu in the rooms although website indicates there is.

I stay at this hotel at least 10 times a year. In the last few years, the standard of service has improved. Rooms are adequate, beds and pillows comfortable. Breakfast at China Grill is substantial and high quality. Only problem with this hotel is catching a taxi when it's peak timing. But then, this is a problem in all Beijing.

We Stayed here in april 2012 and loved it. The Park Hyatt is a great choice, we got a deal on our room, which was very spacious and modern, the biggest shower/bath we have ever seen and the room was spotless. Very comfy bed and modern appliances, nesspresso machine and a generous in room bar. the Staff had good english knowledge and were helpfull and very welcoming. Location is pretty good, you can walk to shopping or a 5 minute taxi to the centre of Beijing.The breakfast bar was average which was a little dissapointing after being in the Hyatt Shanghai but it was still delicious, just not enough variety.
Overall we highly reccomend the Park Hyatt to anyone.
