“Not Luxury , rather standard”

I'm kind of confused why it's called " luxury tented camp".One single example: the breakfast. No matter how small is your breakfast buffet, you cannot present the fruit section consisting of: 2 slices of an orange fruit, one slice of a mango fruit, and one almost black banana ( this time the entire fruit) , cut in half.We were 6 guests in the camp and one or two drivers, but let's say that was only for me, my husband and our friend-so that was the fruit platter for at least 3 persons. All meals were about the same size, but the second lunch I found it not edible, it was some pasta with a table spoon of chicken stew in the middle. The starter was a mini pizza, I had that.I don't know any other luxury place with a set menu and so small.Otherwise it's very clean and the location is great.Bring your own toiletries, we got only a small piece of soap, no shampoo or other thing, in a luxury tented camp. The wine price is kind of luxury though, the same type of wine it's more expensive than in a 5 star hotel in Nairobi ( about one time and a half ) and 5 times and a half more expensive than in the supermarket.

This place is fantastic! It is one of the best experiences I have had! The place has excellent service at extremely affordable prices. The food is great, the tents spacious, nicely decorated and very clean, each with a great patio setting, facing the bush and the beautiful riverbed which gives you ample opportunity to spot wildlife from the comforts of your room....The atmosphere is intimate and quality orientated - your needs as a guest are catered for in every possible way! This place is a jewel kept secret! I will go back for sure!

What a wonderful 2 nights my friends and I had at Mara Eden. We didn't want to leave! The atmosphere was so relaxing and the friendly hosts, Jay and Munir, made our stay one we will never forget. The tents were cozy and extremely clean (excellent beds!) with an outstanding view that provided us with lovely wildlife across the Talek River and into the Reserve. The food was also very well done! Our last morning was spent with Hot Air Safaris which was a magical time. I will definitely be back.

My wife and I were wowed by the excellent experience we had a Mara Eden this past February. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly and courteous.
The tents are lcated right on the Talek river and are extremely comfortableand very clean . The food was gourmet and plentiful beyond our expectations. Excellent wine selection and good prices
We could see so much wildlife from our tent and the night is filled with the symphony of the wilderness.
The fireside entertainment was great. We thouroughly enjoyed out time here and would highly recommend it to anyone..great job...

We stayed in Eden Camp for 2 night and loved it! Everything was just perfect, from warm welcome of very nice couple, Jay and Munir, to the food or luxury tents with wonderful views. We can really recommend this nice eco-camp, run with love and taste. Good luck to Jay and Munir and I hope they will get lot of kind guests!

We were the first time in Kenya, and our friends said: "You have not been to Kenya, unless you go safari" and they found the best choice for us, to be with Mara Eden Safari Camp. Everything was better than you ever can expect. Very hospitable and friendly hosts, really caring for their guests. The accommodation was luxurious tent, could not have been better. The food was delicious and the company excellent. The guide we got in the safari was very knowledgeable and experienced and eager to give us the very best experience - which we really got. We will always remembers this great experience. Our thanks to Munir Kassam.

In January 2012 I had a chance to spend two nights in Mara Eden Safari Camp, traveling on my own around Kenya. It was the most relaxing, pleasant and "no worries" stay during my whole journey. Traveling around Africa might be adventurous and you do not have to necessarily sleep under the tent. In Mara Eden Safari Camp you will receive professional care, warm welcome, nice constant care, interesting chats with the owners, you start to understand what is really happening in Masai Mara and next to that, the adventure and the real nature with all its features is just in front of your tent. To the letter! Very much recommended, it is worth to come over to Masai Mara because of two reasons - the nature and this place.
