we spend 2 nights at the Maji Moto camp, but really would have loved to stay longer. The experience was one in only. Close to the Mara national park (about 1 hour from the gate), set in Masai land, we were able to have a really experience the local life and traditions, without feeling an intruder, but more a welcome guest. The conversation with Sengale and Roman were great, the stories turned into great memories. We were traveling with 2 kids (5 and 8) and this was by far their favorite place they have been to. the warrior training, making their own bow and error and just roaming around making their own little camps.
the camp is simple but comfortable and in line with what is offered. tastefully decorated, keeping masai style.
I would recommend to this to anyone, who is not looking for luxury, but unique experiences and an opportunity to see how the masai live and what their culture is about.
