stayed here for two nights on a Peregrine tour. We had no idea what this place was about till we got there but found it a fantastic experience. I am not a keen camper but the facilities here were so beautifully but simply put together. Our Masai hosts were just amazing. Informative, attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The view from the campsite is awesome. I had the best sleep as the bed in the tent was so comfy. our two boys (16 and 11) absolutely loved this place

I have to confirm everything these reviews have said: this place is great! My wife and I stayed for several days with our two adolescent boys, and all of us found the camp a very happy place to be. Its situated on the edge of a hill, over looking a vast panorama of what we in the US call 'high desert'. Clear clean air, the sky always lively with clouds, like ships sailing over and out. Mountains receding into further blue ranges. A really special place.
The camp itself is very simple, nothing extra or unneeded. Thoughtful details throughout. The staff, Maasai people from the village (just over there) are very pleasant people who are unobtrusive, yet always ready to assist when a need arises. We went on walks with our guides (Sankali or Tomboy) who have a deep knowledge of the plants and animals and the way the Maasai live in harmony with their land.
We rode bicycles! Those Maasai guys know their bikes too.
The food was very good, simple and tasty. Good Tusker beer is available.
But the best part was the pace of it all. Always something to do, if you want, but unhurried. Time to sit and look and think. Time seemed to run differently there.
We all miss it already and plan to return.

This is definitely not some impersonal place! The staff is incredible, really wants guests to enjoy themselves and feel at home - as far as it is possible really far away from home :) It is obvious that the place was constructed with a lot of attention paid to details.
We enjoed the atmosphere at the camp, amazing game viewing and getting to know the Masai. We are really looking forward to returning to Maji Moto!

i travelled to maji moto camp in kenya for the first time with my wife and two kids of 9 and 14 years. It was difficult to choose a place to holiday because we had to cater for each of them.Maji moto turned out to be what we really needed.
The place magically unfolds to the irresistable activities of the wild. The breathtaking view of the sunset the hills to the morning drive in the wild.
We also went for birdwatching which was really amazing to see bird species that could only be found in africa.
the walking safaris was the climax of our stay at this terrific camp especiaaly for my teenager boy who is full of adventure.Through our safari we met and socialized with the masai people and also saw so small wild animals. The walk dumped us at masai mara national reserve just in time to witness the wildbeest migration which was spectacular.
I thank maji moto because it caters for the different tastes and preferences of people.

This is the place where hospitality is invented.
Absolutly stunning views and good facilities.
The enthusiasm of the team is not a gimmick, it's real.

Many thanks! We had a wonderful time.
