Hasmi was THE place to go for Indian barbeeque, good food, quick service.. Sadly the standards have dropped since 2006 when i first visited them. The prices have almost doubled for most dishes in the restaurant and the quality has dropped. The chicken tikka a famous dish and most popular dish is not the same, the meat is dry and does not have the juices and flavours as before. If you place a phone order, the person answering ( believe is one of the brothers/owners) needs to improve tremendously. The phone call discussion is same all the time, Starts with a sad sounding " Hello Hashmi" followed by "Number" here he wants me to give my phone number to check my record, " Whats the order". Use of words like please, thank you for the order, which should be common for any restaurant/service industry are missing. They need some competition and hope Nargis another restaurant nearby can give them some heat to improve.

Amazing kebabs and naan! Great Indian BBQ stuff and nice chicken poussine. Cozy ambiance and well loacted.

This place is amazing. For 750KSH, you can get an amazing meal that is super tasty! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal

Simple Menu, Generous portions, Great taste, Comfortable atmosphere and Authentic & Fresh stuff.

The owners (or promoters) are always around to make sure you enjoy your eating experience, both in terms of helping you make the right choices, ensuring that you order is served on time and the way you expected it.

Since its located in Ukay Center, parking is not a major worry (could be a challenge on week-ends). The only let down was they do not serve beer/alcohol, but that aside it was a wrthwhile experience.
