Stayed for one night at the start of our safari. Hotel is well guarded with several layers of security, so it is a safe place to stay. There is an in room safe; most of the other hotels we stayed in did not have one. Rooms are a bit sparse and basic, painted cement walls etc, but clean with adequate toiletries. Horrible TV. We did not get the badly needed good night’s sleep; the room was just too hot and humid for us Canadians. It just didn't cool down at night like the game reserve hotels did. The ceiling fan was very noisy with speeds varying from very fast to downright scary. The buffet breakfast was pretty good, we drank the juice and had ice cubes and didn't get sick. Room service is available but they bring it in from neighbouring properties. Do your currency exchange here, they had the best rates we encountered, up to 8% better than the safari hotels, we didn't and it cost us. If I was doing the trip over I would look for a room with air-conditioning, other than that it is great value.
