So popular that we decided to go for my friend birthday. However, we were very disappointed. The meat was not good, the sauce tasteless, the side dishes very very common. Desert rubbish and all that for more than 3'000 ksh!!!! With an amount like this you can eat 2-3 times at art caffè or handi the indian restaurant a very good meal. Service was also very very poor. Do not go there.

I was expecting game meat on the menu but due to government regulation this was not to be. The meats available were barbecued to perfection and service was extremely good. This is also an extremely secure restaurant albeit 15 minutes by taxi out of the CBD.

The setting and atmosphere is amazing at Carnivore. From when you walk through the door and see the massive barbecue with guys turning meat on the skewers, to the customary Dawa when you find your table, everything is great. To me, the only downer was the lack of variety of venison, but I do understand that has to do with the conservation laws of the country. Well worth the visit.

The food and service was lovely. Eat as much as you can while the flag is up. The only minus was that I expected more game, however the other food was excellent. I would definitely go there again
