“Nairobi Snake Park is interesting for many size of reptiles and needs up to 2 hours”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2015

The snake park is interesting as you can see different types of African snakes, from Green Mamba to Python, and you can marvel how well snakes can camouflage themselves in their natural environment. You can also see the crocodiles being fed, but if you have small children with you dont take them to the crocs mealtime, as they are fed live chicks etc
the snake park is central but take a cab to go there and you need up to 2 hours to see around.

“A lace worth visiting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2015

They house many of the snake species that can be viewed through a glass window and it is interesting for both adults and children as long as you are not squeamish about snakes. They have a few lizards and tortoises too. There is restaurant opposite the museum which makes for a nice stop.

“Worth Visiting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2015

it is a place you should visit, regardless all reptiles in the glass boxes (which may be seen in anywhere else and different Zoos) there is an open area in the middle where I watched snakes, lizards, turtles chameleon, and geckos living together same as in the wild, eating each others, fighting, chasing it was a very good experience

“Pretty average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2015 via mobile

This has so much potential, with some really impressive specimens. I have not seen a Gaboon Viper that large before. The puff adder is also an impressive size. There some large mambas which must be reaching their maximum sizes, but the place obviously is not receiving the funds it should. The buildings majestic but the exhibits are run down and old. The crocodile and leather back turtle cages do not have enough water in the ponds for the animals to properly submerge themselves and this is a real shame. Animals looked well looked after though.
