“Good choice for a night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013

This hotel is quite close to the airport, so I was staying here on the day before my departure.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and I was given a newly renovated room, making my stay rather convenient. It was no problem getting a taxi reserved to piclk me up in the middle of the night so I could reach the airport in time.

The dinner buffet at the restaurant was also okay, if a bit overpriced. The price I had to pay for the room was aiso okay, but this was because my Kenyan friends had a special arrangement between their university and the hotel, so I could this get 20% off.

Ican of course not tellhow it works out if you one is staying here for several days, since I did neither have the chance to use the facilities nor to have a closer look at the vicinity during daytime.

But I will certainly consider staying here again next time.

The rooms that have recently been refurbished are fantastic... modern and clean.the rooms that have not been refurbished however are old and extremely dusty. The refurbished rooms (all on the top floor) have really hard beds annd the old roons have the comfiest beds. So I guesss you have to choose between old comfy and dusty versus new modern and uncomfortable. Up to you. Other than that, this hotel offers great value for money.

This is a nice hotel and quite good for business travelers . Food is fine . Market is close buy . The only trouble is that the location is jam packed with vehicles in Morning and Evening . Otherwise , would recommend this hotel for business travelers . Swimming pool is just another showcase. you wont step inside .

An overall pleasing experience at the Hotel. Nicely planned rooms with separate living area and bedroom - a unique thing for hotels. Plenty of food choices at reasonable rates. Hotel staff are generally helpful. Many other important places are almost within walking distance from this Hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms are alike.

We stayed here for one night on our way home. The hotel is very central, close to the municipal market, which has nice souvenirs. Breakfast is not bad and there is wifi. Moreover, the staff are friendly. However, the hotel is currently being renovated from top to bottom. It's needed but as a result it is noisy and not very pleasant. The pool on the roof is nothing like what is shown on the hotel's website, though maybe after the renovation it will look better. Our rooms were quite spacious, more like little suites, but rather run down.

Hotel in under renovation. Moderate Hotel. Resturant is good though the breakfast is average. Staffs are helpful. Renovated Rooms are good. Toilets are clumsy. Corridors, swmming pools are in very bad shape now. Free wi-fi available. Rooms are having a/c, falt TV, Friedge, Tea making facilities, phone etc. Overall good value of money.

Room Tip: Choose your Rooms after seeing those.

This hotel was misrepresented to us on their website. It is under renovation and the newly restored rooms are quite nice. No air conditioning however and the street was very busy. It was not for women traveling alone. And we had two small girls with us. it is fine for businessman but I didn't think the level of security for Nairobi was sufficient. It was touted as a safe part of town and we didn't think that was true either. The restaurant did not look appealing and we would have had to walk through an unsafe part of town to find restaurants. As I said, it would be fine for businessmen. They did have security checks in the evenings but not during the day.
