This is still a very inteesting place to visit. The collection of the past, history and the present is available. I ended up going to the National Archives to buy te book about the railway construction from Monbasa to Uganda.... If you like history....there is more for you to se and hear...

“Nairobi Railway Museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

The museum is a little off the beaten track but worth the visit. A must is the informative talk from the curator at the beginning of your visit, it is not only incredibly interesting but it helps to understand what many of the items in the museum are about. It was enlightening to know the 'Lunatic Line' was being built not to see Kenya but to try to get to Uganda!!! Outside are old trains you can look at as well. For train buffs like our friend this is a must for the rest of us it was very interesting indeed.
