“The 3pm is is not to be missed!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

The tribal homes at the Bomas have not changed for eons and make for an interesting historical note. But the real clincher is the show at the auditorium. The traditional dancers and acrobats are quite worth the visit!

“well worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

This is my second visit to Bomas of Kenya: I first went 10 years ago. It still stands out as a very good venue to visit if you are in Nairobi and you want to get a taste of Kenyan culture. There are traditional homesteads to visit, and a really entertaining, funny and educational dance show. The buildings are all round, inspired by traditional Kenyan architecture. We also ate there: the food was very good and the setting of the restaurant is quite dramatic, with wide views over the forested hills.

“Culture”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

The place is very nice and clean, the shows consist of different ethnic dances, very cultural enriching and they have a restaurant. You can have your meal while watching the shows. After that you can visit the "bomas", the tradicional houses from the different villages of Kenya, which are made with mud bricks, wood and corrugated steel sheets. Very nice place to visit!

“Good overview of Kenyan culture”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013 via mobile

Nice afternoon listening to African songs and getting to know the Kenyan culture. The place is simple but we have enjoyed it. Good representation of the typical vilas.
