“Loved the giraffes!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

We visited this center on our first day in Nairobi after long plane ride(s). Was a great introduction to Kenya. Yes - we did see more giraffes in the following days - but this was a peaceful, educational setting. Loved the gift shop too.

“Great experience..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

Great place to get up close to the Giraffes.

We really enjoyed feeding them at head height with there large tongues, great photo opportunity.

A must if you get the chance to visit.

“A good initiative but somewhat overrated”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

The attraction is to see one of Kenya's giraffe species - the Rothchild - up close and feed them which provides for some good photo opportunities. Nice for families with kids but for the real thing Nakuru National Park still looks more natural to observe these giraffes. Nothing much else to do there but to learn a bit about giraffes.

“Kiss a giraffe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

This is a fun place to visit in Nairobi to get warmed up for more adventurous safaris. You are literally right next to the giraffes feeding them by hand. Really unique experience - make sure to try the giraffe kiss...it is a special moment.

“French kissing giraffes?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

If you're brave - or foolhardy - put some giraffe food in your mouth and allow the giraffes to take it from you using their incredibly long and dextrous (is that the correct word?) tongues. No kissing please!
Kids love it and adults enjoy the visit too.
