“Nice relaxing place for the whole family”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

This is a really nice place to spend some hours or even a whole day with an overnight in tents.
We visited Paradise Lost a saturday and we expected the place to be crowded but it wasn´t. A guide Went together with us to show the place and as we also wanted to see the coffee farm he took us there where a very excited guide took over. He was great!
If you go to Paradise Lost, bring a picnic basket and relax in the green grass!

“Great for picnics”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

I have been to Paradise Lost in Kiambu for several visits over the years. I have seen the place change a lot. There were times the coffee farms that were before the venue were unsafe but its now reasonably safe with a lot of structures that have come up. Its quite a bit of distance from the main road for someone taking public transport.

The place attracts an entrance fee. There is a wide range of activities such as feeding the ostriches, boat riding, exploring the caves, watching the waterfalls, nature trail and huge fields to play in so long as you carry your playing kits and balls. You can carry packed meals or cook at the venue. A lot of their activities attract a fee even after paying the entrance fee.

I would recommend it for groups looking to have fun. Especially family with kids who can also enjoy horse & Carmel riding.
