“Excellent meeting venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2014

Excellent meeting venue. We were treated very well by all staff and even stayed well beyond our meeting time. Ample parking and excellent food. Beautiful conference rooms and warm reception. First class equipment and staff on hand to assist. Enjoyed a tour of the rooms which look great. Lovely gardens and good use of space. A jewel in the middle of the hectic highway.

Wish the staff were more 5 star hotel-like. That would certainly want people to come back and pass on a good word about the hotel/service encouraging more people to visit because at the end of the day, people come to expensive places expecting a certain level of service!

My friends and I enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect; from the service to the food, to the very comfortable bed... except the wifi was on and off (only criticism I have). I highly recommend and will definitely stay there again, next time I'm in Nairobi. :)

Although a very comfortable and luxurious hotel, it is poorly managed and does not live up the to standards advertised or expected. The staff are very friendly and courteous but there is little attention to detail. Problems such as room not being made up, facilities offered in spa not available (staff had not bothered to switch on sauna) and numerous minor failings leave much room for improvement. I would be excellent if these issues were attended to.

We arrived for one night on January 1st and unfortunately didn't have time to experience all the hotel has to offer, but I must stay we loved the decoration, rooms, breakfast, and especially the kindness and welcome we received from all staff. I wouldn't hesitate on staying here again on a future visit.

It is usually much easier to write when things go wrong. This time - no fun in criticising. It was simply perfect.
Staff is extremely efficient and friendly. From valet parking to checkout.
The rooms are spacious, well designed, with great lighting and comfy beds.
Bathroom - with large tub, shower and high quality amenities.
Food - delicious. Breakfast and lunch - a buffet with almost too much variety. Try the Asian fusion restaurant for dinner. Fantastic...
If there is anything to complain about it is the wi-fi internet speed. Go for Faiba, Villa Rosa. If it works at my home it must work at yours...
Finally, the location. Yes it is close to the centre of Nairobi but too close to Wayaki Way and with an ugly view in the back.
My recommendation: stay inside and enjoy superior quality which is so rare in Kenya...

We spent the night here on New Year's Eve and really enjoyed the experience. The location of the hotel makes it very convenient in terms of accessibility even though having a major highway on the doorstep does mean that there is a lot of traffic (noise) outside. Fortunately, when in the rooms the traffic is barely perceptible.
Talking of the rooms, they are spacious and contain all the mod cons that you'd expect in a five-star hotel. Tea/coffee making equipment does not come as standard, but is available on request - when we asked, they were able to provide it within five minutes. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh dishes to choose from.
The day before we checked in we had visited the hotel and requested to be shown the rooms and were shown around the different rooms and facilities by a polite, friendly guest relations officer.
Overall the experience was one we enjoyed and provided good value for money. No complaints about the quality of service.

Room Tip: Rooms facing away from the entrance/highway are quieter.
