“Very nice dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

I heard this place was great and then read the terrible reviews. Despite the mixed views, we went though a bit on guard. The food came very quickly, was piping hot and very tasty. We all enjoyed the dishes. The service was fine. The place was packed when we were there and it seemed that everyone else was having a similar experience. The prices are not that much more than any similar restaurant of its caliber in Nairobi.

“Over-priced and many dishes inedible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013 via mobile

Wine ridiculously over-priced. Had to send the salmon main course back as was as tough as an old shoe. Carbonara for kids was so chilli they couldn't eat it. No half portion for kids. Will stay away from now on, unless we stick to the pizzas and chocolate soufflé which are fab (but still stupidly overpriced)

“The worst. Very disappointed. Be careful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

We were there for lunch this afternoon. We were brought the wrong food and the owner rudely refused to correct their mistake asking us to eat it or pay for it even though we spent a lot of money.

It turned out that the food was pricey and was not value for money at all.

People, be careful when you visit this restaurant. Very disappointing. The most disappointing restaurant in Nairobi

“Disappointing... overpriced and terrible food”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

From the starters to the desserts, one big disappointment...! A crostini plate consisted of 2 pieces of (we are guessing) deep fried polenta with one piece of (again deep fried!) sausage and some tasteless mushrooms, 1 big chunck of bread covered with what looked and tasted like some left over pasta meat sauce. The last and only edible piece was finally a true crostini with chopped tomatoes and basil.
The main course of Saltimbocca a la Romana was carelessly splahed on a plare with some oily mixed vegetables on the side. The taste was bland.
Finally the lemon sorbet in vodka, was not a sorbet but ice cream and the marinated pineapple could have stayed in its plant for a little longer...
In the mean time, too many waiters were standing around watching us eat and what looked like the manager, was walking nervously between the tables, however never inquiring about the food.
So all in all, one big disappointment and would never go back!
So all in all
